Hello! I am new to stamping and found this site three months ago while searching for SU! galleries. This site is galleries and so much more! I have been CASE'ing cards in my effort to learn as well as printing up binders full of info on tips, techniques and templates.
My husband has been in the Army for 24 years, hence my sign in name. We are presently preparing for our move next month from VA to GA where I will be able to have a stamp room!
Eventually I hope to submit some of my own creations.
I love this site! I started lurking around about a week ago and I am having so much fun trying out new stuff. I became a demonstrator at the end of Jan and I am loving every minute of it. I am also really excited to be going to my first convention in July. I also got my sister in law addicted to this site. Only fair since she got me addicted to stamping last year. I have made crafts and done some scrapbooking for about 4 years but have only been making cards for a year. Hallmark sure has lost my buisness. Hope to start a gallery soon. Thanks to all of you for your great ideas.
I posted my first cards today! It took me about 3 hours to figure it out. The main thing for me was knowing what file your cards are in on the computer! When you click on the upload bar (upper right) there are 3 "browse" bars to find the files with your cards. Once you find the file and click on the "open" tab, the file (or card) is ready for uploading. I am not a computer person at all, but I hope this helps a little.
good luck!
aileen

Welcome to GA!
I'm a relatively new SU demo (8 months) and a longer-term crafter. I stamp, quill, embroider, etc., and am learning how to make my own handcrafted papers. I love the look of them on cards, but they are too expensive to buy all the time!
I've been lurking on SCS for a while, but finally joined today when I saw a technique question that I could answer.

Somewhat new-
Hi- I've been checking out this wonderful web-site for about 6 months. Still trying to find my way around, I'm not the most computer literate user! I still am in awe of all the inspiring cards posted! And today I finally got brave enough to try to upload some cards. (Hopefully it worked-had DH's help)
Thanks to everyone for sharing their artwork, ideas, etc..... I did recently sign up to be a demonstator-my upline had an awesome deal on the starter kit-but I'm not sure if I will actually demonstrate or just remain a hobbyist. Again thank you all for sharing--
(Oops I guess it's been longer than I thought-boy time flies)
Hi my name is Brandie "brans" and I am 1 year into stamping. I have a few wood but am a CTMH consultant and love acrylic. I got bit by the card making bug recently and ahve a list for my SU consultant! Hope I can learn a lot here and maybe share some as well!
Hi, I'm fairly new to stampin and still getting used to SCS. I became a demo last year. Since then, of course I've acquired several stamp sets, and I'm thinking about starting my gallery. Stampin and card-making is so much fun! I love the gallery! But alas, I have other hobbies as well, such as beading and scrapbooking. Any ideas of how you can get them all in (plus work) would be welcome.
Wow -- I am really impressed! How did you manage that? How many folks were there, and they must have each bought a LOT!!!
How is your downline doing?
I am very impressed.
Also -- you get FOUR sets? Oh, that would be from signing up downlines... hmmm... I am only getting 1 set for making my goal, and that took the full ammount of time!
Sigh.

I just hope I can keep up the momentum!!
I'm excited to get my FOUR free stamp sets for acheiving my stampin start goals! I wish I could earn more.. cause Im only about $100 away from the $1500 goal!!
I have gotten tons of ideas for layouts to do at workshops from the SCS gallery! I plan on setting up my own gallery album to share some things that Ive done... but want to get through the millions of posts on this forum first! Hope to talk to yall soon!!!
I just want to take a sec and re-introduce myself. It has been about a year since I have visited the site, and know that things have calmed down a bit I feel that I may have the time to participate. I love stamping and making cards. I am new to the scrapbooking arena and love to get ideas from everywhere. I am still short on time to actually work on projects but I have time to get ideas together and put them in files, so that if I ever find myself with nothing to do...I can find it. I am obcessed with organization, I am currently designing a work surface/storage area for all of my supplies. Its a mother's day present to myself. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to gather wonderful ideas, techniques and uses for the many things that I have.
Well, i'm new to stamping and SCS. I am a demonstrator too, but just got my starter kit yesterday and trying to figure out what all I can do with what i've got!! So far my creative juices are flowing......I just hope that they don't run out!!
I'm new to SCS, I became a SU demonstrator about 6 months ago, haven't really got started with it yet. Looking for any type of advice, to help get started.

Hello! My name is Barbra and I am new to SCS. I've actually been enjoying the site and all the wonderfully gifted and creative ladies that share their work here for almost a year. I can't thank my SU demo enough for telling me about this site! I have been a scrapbooker for about 5 years now and am now into making cards also. But mostly I just buy papers and new "toys" as I just can't seem to get the creative juices flowing whenever I finally get time to visit my scrap room. I hope to get brave enough to upload some of my work one day! Thanks so much for reading and sharing!

Yeah! I know you're excited about your kit! If you'd like to drive to Youngsville on 6/24, I'm having a Stampin! Meet (1PM-4PM). I try to keep things real informal. We can share our creative juices and have some fun. Let me know and I can send directions. Good Luck!
Hi, I'm new to SCS & a relative newbie as a SU demo too! Unsure if I'm 'verified' so will see if this goes thru. I'm making like a slo-turtle with my SU business because of work (chronically shorthanded) and work weird rotating shifts. So my plan is slow & steady. Love SU products & have been a loyal customer for last 5-7+ yrs before finally joing up as demo. Love all the ideas & can always use moral support! I'm also totally new to the whole forum format, never having done anything more than e-mails back'n forth. Don't know much about forums, moderators, etc - willing to learn though!
Let's see if this'll post! ;) islandgurlz
I just wanted to say hello & that I'm very excited to learn from all of you awe inspiring stampers! I've recently signed up to be a SU! demo and I'm very eager to learn as much as I can...
I became a SU demonstrator about a month ago. I have only been stamping for a year and a half, but had to find a way to pay for the addiction. With 2 boys, ages 16 and 4, and a small zoo in my house, it can be challenging to find the time and space for stamping. But I hope to get some great ideas on this issue. Already I have seen some great projects and templates I can't wait to use in a workshop.
I will be a SU! demo hopefully by this Friday if my paperwork arrives in time! I am so excited! I can not wait to get my kit and especially my number to jump in on the demo forum!
I have been scrapbooking for almost 3 years and have recently gotten into stamping. I was introduced to SU! by a friend and have since gone to lots of workshops. Having to travel to all the workshops is what got me thinking about being a demo. There was no one in my area who is a demo. I am so excited about the opportunity of a huge area of people that havent been introduced to stamping/SU! yet. Its my blank canvas and I cant wait to paint the town SU!
With love,
Sarah

Could you give me an estimate of where Youngsville is? I know i've heard of it before, but just can't figure out where in the world it is!! If it's not too awful far and were not already in the process of moving, I would absoluetly LOVE to come!!!

I'm not sure if the quick reply will be easier for you to get to. I'm still trying to figure the site out!! But, from the looks of it, it's about an 1 and a half drive, which isn't that far!! So....as long as were not in the middle of moving, I would love to come!!!
That would be great if you could come. I try to keep it real simple and fun! Basically, Youngsville is on the other side of Raleigh, and I'm thinking maybe a couple of hours from Jacksonville? Come up I-40 to Raleigh, and then US 1 North towards Henderson. Youngsville is just past Wake Forest. I'd love to meet you and I'll give you all the advice I can --- I still consider myself pretty new to SU. Two heads are better than one, right? I'll get back in touch as the date gets closer.

Sounds great!! I think my email is listed in my profile. I know both of my screen names are, so feel free to contact me with one of those methods if you would rather do that! Thanks a bunch!!
I am very excited about this website. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with the computer. There are tons af great ideas and I can tell there are some fabulous people on here. I can't wait to get to know all of you!!! :-D
I am so excited about finding this site and about being a SU demonstrator - just trying to wrap up my first party - and can't wait for the new book! There are so many great ideas, I don't know where to start - Thanks to you all for your sharing and caring....glad to be a member! TTYL
HI, All! My name is Dawna, and I check in from Indiana. (I guess I am the split for the coasts! LOL) I am really enjoying this site, and refer to is as "The Labyrinth" to my DH, 'cause I seem to coil around and through, wow! I was a SUP! demo a LONG time ago, but now only stamp for myself (and relatives, and friends, and church stuff...)
Someone please clarify for me... is this site primarily aimed at SUP! demos and stamps, or are any companies welcome here. I have some great cards I would love to share, but not all are SUP! stuff.
Thanks to all for your willingness to share! I have sent myself a number of your pages, and sat at my desk with my laptop up with my favorites so I could CASE them with my own colors and/or themes. I love the positive energy here, and the support and love just power off the screen!
My upline introduced me to this site about a month ago. What a great find! I am a Stampin Up demonstrator in Westfield, IN. I've been stamping for a little over a year. This website is really a great resource.
Just want to say hello to all the wonderful members of this site! I've been a member for a couple of years, but have just looked at the amazing art posted and tutorials. Several friends are members and keep telling me to get more active with this group!
I just retired last week after 30 years of teaching-mostly first grade and am now ready to get imore nvolved! I am a "hobby" SU! demo-5 years now-but have been stamping for over 10 years. I have 2 grown children and a DH of 38 years! I love to read, make cornshuck dolls with a friend, listen to Oldies music (and I mean "oldies" ) and stamp!

Hi there!
I'm a SU demonstrator and I'm pretty new to this site. I just became a member and I'm wondering if there is a place on here where we can view ideas for the new summer mini catty? I'm needing some idea's for "laundry notes" and I can't find anything. Anybody know?
Thanks so much!
I'm new to SCS and also a new SU demonstrator down under...relocated from California. Finding it a little slow to start as I'm still getting to know people, but hoping my love for stampin will help me make new friends in a land down under.
