Smile Mardi Gras themed stamping

do anyone have any suggestions on what stamp sets to use for a Mardi Gras themed party?

Thanks so much.

Post Time Worn Trim

Time Worn Trim! It has a fleur di lis which is on the Mardi Gras Flag! Also, any stamp set that has confetti/streamers in it would work. Or if you have the retired set Delightful Dressups, it has a pearl necklace that you piece together and you could stamp it in the Mardi Gras colors to represent the beads thrown at the parades.

I was also thinking of the fleur de lis in the 'timeworn trim' set. I am originally from New Orleans and have made lots of Mardi Gras invites and cards. I would use eggplant, hunter and mustard or saffron cs. Stamp 'print pattern' in the background, deep emboss the fleur de lis in gold ep with purple, green, and yellow feathers behind it. I think I will have to put this one together for myself.

Hope that helps!
Marie

Somewhat a hijack here... let's all pray that the people in New Orleans (and Mississippi) can rebuild and put their lives back together in time for a Mardi Gras...
