NY Summer Demo Day
Summer Demo Day!
Date: August 21st 2005
Time: 8:30am To 4:30pm
Place: Town Of Newburgh Recreation Center,
Rt 300 Newburgh NY 12550
Event is Limited to 30 Stampers - Pre-Register early to assure your spot!

There will be a swap!
Holiday Magic
Demo Quality
Create swaps with a holiday theme, lets swap some of your best ideas for the upcoming Christmas season.
SU Products Only
At Least 2 layers with embellishments.
Final head count for the swap will come a week before the event.
Back By Demand!
Shoebox Swaps!
Create a card or project.
Current Stamp Sets Only!
Stampin Up Products!
Card or project should be able to be completed in 15 minutes or less.
You will need to make 2 samples, one for your Shoebox & one for me as the last time I did not have time to stamp and missed out on so many great cards & projects. A basket will be provided to drop my sample in at check in.
Put all the necessary supplies to reproduce your project along with the sample in the shoe box. You will move from box to box to finish all your swaps.
Label you box. Everyone should be able to take out just what they need to create your shared project.
Shoe box is easy:
Only people that bring a shoe box swap will participate.
Make your 2 sample cards.
You supply everything as far as materials in box to make 25 card fronts.
(We are going to limit the amount in each box to 25, even if there are 30 people you will only have to make 2 samples and put the items in the box to make 25. If we end up with less then 25 people I will let you know on August 16th when I have the final paid head count. I'm sure we will have at least 25 people, This way you can pick & choose what projects or cards you would like to make and no one will have to worry about cutting stuff for tons of people).
Shoe boxes will start at 10:00, first hour will be swapping, chatting & final set up to give everyone a chance to arrive & relax.
You don't have to stay at your shoe box, but PLEASE feel free to make a small display board of some of your projects to place by your shoe box along with your shoe box sample so people can look at & photograph if they like.
I am adressing the issue to provide you more space and your shoebox area!!!!!
Make & Take
There will be one make & take that everyone will do.
Demo Table
There will be a demo table!
Of course I need volunteers!!!!
Through out the day we will have different demo's.
If you have something special that you would like to share, please let me know as I would like to create a schedule with the demos.
You will have to bring your own supplies for your demo, you don't have to provide materials for everyone to do what you are demoing but a handout would be appreciated.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SPEAK IN FRONT OF A LARGE CROWD!!
People will stop by your table to see what you are working on.
Everyone is welcomed to bring a board of their projects to share, If you have a camera, bring it to take pictures.
I need everyone that is planning to attend to RSVP & Pre-Pay to me by August 15th, 2005
Cost is $12.00
(this is to cover the cost of center, set up, clean up, materials & handouts)
Children will be allowed but only with a paid admission and they must be with an adult at all times.
Everyone needs to bring a snack to share with everyone for lunch, coffee will be provided as will hot water for tea.
When you respond let me know what snack you will be bringing along with your RSVP that you will be attending.
