Happy November! Thank you all for coming back each month to check out the newest MISTI Monday challenge! I think I say this every year in November, but MAN did this year go fast! It's been such a pleasure to look at your cards every month! Such a talented group we have here!
So last month we did a color challenge based on my Thank You card I created for someone who did a quick favor for me. This month, I'm basing the challenge on a card I created for no one in particular. Starting in November, every year, I do Random Acts of Kindness around my community. I put a little cash in a card and leave them for people that seem like they could use a little help around the holidays.
Although I didn't stamp my sentiment with my MISTI (I printed it on my laser printer to foil), I did use the My Sweet Petunia MIS-T ruler for lining up my layers of paper, since the layers were so close to each other. The ruler helps me make sure I'm centered and straight.
Your challenge this month is create a card or tag you'd put with a gift this season. Mine is random giving, but yours can be any type of gift you'll be giving in the coming weeks. Maybe my card will inspire you to make your own RAK cards.
Thanks again for participating! Good luck to you all!

Your card is stunning, clean and simple. It will be enjoyed by someone! One year for my birthday I gave away gift certificates from local businesses in our little town. It was a lot of fun to give an envelope to a bewildered stranger and say, "Happy Birthday"...then they usually replied but it isn't my birthday...and I would say but it is mine! Then walk away.
Never thought to put a card with it...great idea.

Thanks for a wonderful challenge, first time participant here! I am working on Christmas RAK cards to send to our local seniors and the Misti makes it so much easier.
I love the card that you made, it is so clean and beautiful!

Love your card and the RAK idea! I just sent out some Thanksgiving cards today and included checks in several of them for families I know can use a little help around the holidays especially. I'll be back to post a picture of the cards in the next few days.
I made this card to give to someone I'm grateful for. I'll write a note inside expressing my thankfulness for her... and I'll include a gift card, too.
I used my Misti when making this card - nearly every card I make, in fact. I do not have much strength in my hands so it's nice to be able to stamp more than once to get a good crisp image. I am so thankful for my Misti!
I was on a mission today to make a number of cards for my donation box at church--the money received from selling these cards is donated to our Building & Grounds Group. I love sentiments stamps for Christmas cards as I think they are perfect for a gift card or along with a gift. I love using my Mini Misti on all cards, but especially sentiment stamps in order to get perfect coverage on every single word and letter!
Beautiful cards in the November gallery! My new Teal MISTI came last night. I just opened it. It is so lovely! Even the paper is printed with teal ink. I bought a mousepad for it, but that is pink. I might just laminate a piece of the paper so it remains the same color. I am looking forward to using this for years. Thank you Misti Monday and My Sweet Petunia for the generous gift. The Black Friday certainly helped!

How thick is the mousepad? I didn’t find that information on the My Sweet Petunia website. Thank you!
And congratulations on your win and getting in on the Black Friday sale! Double win!!

It is the same thickness as the original foam. It basically takes the place of using the paper and it is easy to clean.
I am finding the magnet is very hard to get off of the place where V2 has storage. I added tape, but I guess it was too much, so I took it off. I will try again.

Congratulations to our November winner, Carsher4! Her joy card was randomly chosen in our random act of kindness month. Who wouldn't love a cup of coffee given to them randomly?
I can't believe it's December. Can you? Have any of you taken the suggestion for giving random acts of kindness? I'd love to hear about them!
I've messaged Carsher4, Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm so excited to be the November winner! Recently I've started doing free Christian card making classes for homeschool families, and having a second MISTI will be so helpful for that! Thanks so much, MISTI Monday!
carsher4...congrats...having multiple MISTI's is wonderful especially when having card classes. I have free classes at our local library for homeschool or church kids as well as another class in May for my birthday with a group of ladies.
