Rotary Cutter
I am looking for a Rotary cutter that cuts straight and the dimensions are correct. I already tried the big fiskars one and don't like that the 5 1/2 " mark is in the crack. So then I bought the Carl Professional 18 inch trimmer RT218 and the dimensions are off. Well that definitely is not going to work. What else can I try.

It's not a rotary, but the Rotatrim was the best purchase I've made in 20 years

I have the 18" for cutting down watercolor paper but the 15" one is great for cardmaking.

I had the 15" Rotatrim, then got the 12" due to lack of space. BEST trimmer out there!

Me too......I'm confused I looked up the Rotatrim and it looks like a rotary trimmer to me. Do they carry a regular trimmer too?

The Rotatrim is definitely a rotary trimmer, and in my opinion, the best trimmer on the market. I have the 15" Pro and especially love the ease of use and accuracy of cutting.

I can’t believe how costly the Rotatrim line is. I have the Carl Rotary Trimmer, wouldn’t recommend it. It doesn’t cut straight as the lower bar at the bottom where you put your paper up against is not straight.

I bought a Carl years ago. I had the same problem with it not cutting straight. I bought a Cutterpillar Pro a few years ago and love it.

I recently bought a Creative Memories rotary trimmer and absolutely love it. I can cut two pieces of heavy card stock and up to 3 pieces of DSP if I press firmly and go back and forth a couple of times. Single pieces of either are a breeze and the cuts are so clean.
You can also buy different blades for it and the cutter stores the blade cartridges underneath. And it's only $50.

That was my experience too. The Rotatrim is costly because it's extremely high quality. Made in England. |

how many sheets of say SU cardstock can you cut neatly at once. also do you have to apply much pressure when you are cutting?
