HelloColorChallengeFans! It's Tuesday and time for another color challenge. #835 on the charts for us.
Let's start with the fave from last week. Chris was our hostess and she chose this beauty by Pam aka bailmac

Now onto this week's challenge. I have chosen a bright, an in-color and a neutral.

For today's color challenge card I dedicated my creation to my DD- it's Match Day for medical school residencies across the U.S. on friday- it's when she finds out where's she's working after graduation! I used a favorite stamp set to create my card, ripping the "waves" lower horizontal panel and double stamping it with 2 shades of blue. Added a hand lettered sentiment. Here's Wishing You Smooth Sailing.

For my second card for today's color challenge I used a really cute stamp set from a stamping friend and kept it CAS- did a dark blue distressing watercolor technique- blotting the aqua painted watercolors on the bird. Added a scalloped aqua circle and a larger dark blue embossed circle for my framing. As I have a sweet tooth, I used the ice cream image- it's a double scoop! Finished with a stamped and colored sentiment panel. Here's You're So Sweet 2X

I'm finally feeling better and have a bit more energy to craft more in the evening.
I'm glad I chose to peek at the color challenge this week. This is not a color combo I would have found on my own. I used navy as the focal in my card and I love how the colors go together.
