You really need to be someone who can handle a lot of little bits. Familial Tremors run in my family and I have managed it quite well since childhood. Coloring, painting, altering objects, creating miniature shadowboxes have always placed me in zen mode where the tremors almost disappear. That is, until the last eight months or so. I can successfully paint and color; however, the rest is too much work for me anymore. Just wanted to give you fair warning about the quantity and size of some dies in the sets. With that all being said, the final results are wonderful. If you are interested, let me know which you care to have and I will pick up the shipping.

Hi Lercy,
Good point about all the small bits and pieces in many die sets. I find it a necessity to use both a "pokey tool" (as many UK crafters call it), or long needle to push out the tiny parts, and glue with a thin nozzle, plus a jewel picker to pick up and adhere all the details to the main shape. Before I had retinal surgery about 7 years ago, I couldn't even see straight lines so die sets with lots of small pieces were a chore, if not impossible for me to handle. That doesn't bother me now because, as my husband likes to say, I'm a person who would excel at picking lint off of sweaters as a profession because I love tedious tasks!
Many manufacturers show beautifully detailed, finished projects, but neglect to explain that it all involves gluing and inlaying tiny bits and pieces. Worth it in the end, but definitely something to know.
So glad that you are able to paint and color though, because your cards are exquisite!

Hello, again! Someone last night asked me about an embossing folder which triggered this offering today. Never been a fan of them, although over the years I have allowed those YouTube gurus to convince me they would be a good fit for me. Not! These I have used quite a bit, but since I am no longer into altering objects, it makes no sense to keep them as dust collectors -- and I really don't want to listen to my husband whistle The Munsters' theme song one more time. Let me know which you are interested in -- I will foot the shipping.

I would love the Brickwork and Roses texture fades if still available. Will send PM with info.
Thank you for PIFing.

Thank you, Karen. If I weren't such a perfectionist in some respects, I would still work with the dies. When I create a 3-D project I like it to be flawless and it especially drives me nuts if any adhesive shows. Recipients always get so up close and look at every detail. Someone like you would immediately spot an oops! It's a wonderful feeling to see my creations placed on display year after year, especially the holiday ones. I can still do detailed paper tole projects, so I'm grateful and happy for that. And it's a good thing I love loose watercolor painting!
Well, darn, that's what I get for sleeping in and taking a shower before checking my email. Poof-great embossing folders gone. You are so generous with your PIF offerings, Lercy.
Yeah -- I should have given you a heads-up last night after you triggered my embossing folder thoughts.
That Mechanics folder is a great one too and I was tempted but have one with gears already, so passed. I love industrial and nature themed folders for guy cards. Glad you were able to grab some goodies too.

Yeah, excess glue drives me crazy too, but I'm working on not worrying too much about it. I have a trusty sand eraser by Mono, that removes part of the shine but I always know it's still there. As for the problem of recipients getting up close and seeing the flaws, I've solved that issue by only sending to people with poor eyesight!
Karen
Lercy, I am so glad that you still are able to paint and color. I know none of mine turn out perfect, but it is such good therapy! I am glad you still have that outlet for your creativity!

Yep, I'm back with even more items. Looking forward, I came across items I purchased a duplicate of, items given to me that were not a fit for me, items I've used a lot and can't even gather the enthusiasm to use them one more time. I'm sure they all are a fit for someone out there. PM me whatever catches your eye. Shipping is on me.
NO LONGER AVAILABLE -- Thank you for all the interest.

Lercy, my mom would just love Rejoice and Tangled Penguin. She's coming out of nursing rehab next week, and I'd like to get her back into card making. These would definitely inspire her. Thank you for your kindness.
Was chatting earlier about some of the gorgeous cards I've gotten here; just thought I would share a pic of some of the ones I have stored on my bulletin board. It's not all of them, but some of them. I love them all!

Thanks for the peek at your inspiration board and cards that you've received Chris! How fun to see several of mine up there. I keep many of the cards I've been receiving on a shelf in my entry way where I can enjoy them every day. Love the crafting community so much!
Karen
I received mail from Shartyl and Kazeka! Thank you so much! I just love happy mail!
I will look for some things to offer.
Glad they got there Chris! By the way, I've been working on a few cards with that Sizzix flip card die that you sent to me as a PIF last year and finally getting the hang of it. I used card stock that was too thin the first time I used it, so the card didn't stand up well. Now I know to use really heavyweight card for the base, and then just add patterned paper panels if I want them. Youtube videos always help me when I get a new die or stamp set. Thank goodness for tutorials and thank you again for that fun die.
Karen
Karen, That was a die that I received from a PIF here, so I was happy to share it, and happy that it is still getting love! I made sure to cut a few out before I sent it, but I haven't used the card bases yet, so I'll have to probably check out you tube as well!
I'm so happy you keep cards too! A lot of the younger people don't even send cards; I think they are really missing out on a fun and thoughtful practice.

Oh yes, I remember you mentioning that you were passing on something you got some years back as a PIF. How fun that it's continuing to inspire and bring smiles! I haven't really gotten into interactive cards because I'm terrible at measurements and 3-D projects, but having the die makes it so easy and fun.
I too, think it's a shame that many people don't send cards anymore. Even my local scrapbooking friends don't make OR send cards, except at Christmas anymore. I think it's so strange that they love to papercraft when it comes to scrapbooks, but have stopped sending cards. I still send cards to everyone, and get a lot of joy out of making them. Unfortunately, I'm sometimes late sending birthday cards out, so thank goodness for my belated birthday wishes stamp!
I have these to offer as a PIF. I hope someone can use them. I can only mail in the U.S.. Lawn Fawn You're Clawsome stamp set SPOKEN FOR

I apologize for the stains on the stamps, but they did get used. I couldn't get some of the ink off. Sorry the bird set looks blurry; I didn't get the stamps lined up on the sheet perfectly.
Kazeka, I am terrible about remembering birthdays and such. Please send me the date of yours again, so I can remember to write it down. My memory has gotten awful!
