Jan, if you are losing a sock every time, and Steve is putting the mateless one back in the wash, maybe you are just getting the same one over and over! LOL
Just took time to pray. I like to do it right away in case I get wrapped up in life and forget later. Duane is covered in my prayers, as are the cousins.
My friend MIL was in the ER today. She has a kidney stone. They sent her home with pain meds because they don't have any beds!
And, lol, can you pick me up some pop up kleenex? They only allow one box per shopping visit here, due to covid and I need more. They fit better than a long box on the table between our chairs. But we are using the long kleenex boxes for now. We go through lots of kleenex in this household, lol...
I prefer Puffs without lotion. But walmart quit selling the triple pack that I like. So I resorted to great value brand for now. I'm never found without a tissue in my pocket. And I usually forget to take them out before laundry and have to clean up pieces! If I run out of tissues I can open to since I have 100 rolls in my bedroom!
I had weird dreams again last night. I know where they started this time. I decided to put on a youtube video of Gina k. I take my tablet to bed with me and when I wake up, I put on a tutorial. Anyway I dreamed I was at Gina's house and she lived in australia! I was trying to have her explain how to order her stuff online! She was having a crafting party and I wasn't getting a lot of info. It's funny because I think she was talking about a new release in the video. I probably was going to order it, whatever it was! At least it wasn't a nightmare
Glad I am not the only one. I am never found without a tissue either. Gets rather annoying at times. I think I mentioned before that a naturopathic told me I was allergic to dust. Well hello! Everything is dust, lol.....
Well a crafting dream is a lot better than a nightmare, lol..
Happy Wednesday everyone.....thoughts and prayers for rellies and friends who are unwell. I hope they all recover quickly.
Good to see you posting again sis Vicki. Look forward to seeing your creations and fairies.
Whoohoo...I've just received more happy mail. Gorgeous and so creative cards....thank you Kandie, Kathy and Pat....wow I am blessed with all the beautiful cards and goodies I have received. Thank you. I feel so guilty now not having sent out Xmas cards this year but I have a plan for 2021 LOL, which reminds me that I must get onto January/February and maybe March birthday cards. I'm still on my mission and have been productive the past couple of days and this morning. My cutting down social media including on SCS too much is allowing me to do more. I have 30 days to keep on track.
Kandie, we used to lose socks all the time when the boys were small. They know where to hide LOL. Thank you for the tip on the wooden tiles....I do sometimes distress my wooden chipboards with TH inks. Maybe post the tip on MMJ too. Your journals are absolutely beautiful. You rock vintage/shabby chic....I just love them all.
Tomorrow is my WTUI challenge...*wink*...maybe it can be combined with the alpha challenge. It's will also be New Years Eve...at last this year is going.
Have a great day everyone. Hugs

Said Prayer right away, Catherine for your uncle and cousins.
Kathy, and Shirl, our TP and Kleenex is limited at our stores to one per person.
Ann , and Melody, we don’t have snow.
But, we were rudely awaken at 5:05 this morning by another earthquake!
“Sedgwick County experienced its 15th earthquake in the month of December in the early hours of Wednesday morning. At 5:04 am, it registered at 3.8 in magnitude, according to the United States Geological Survey.”
This time punches fell off the shelves in my craftroom. The house really rattled this time. But nothing like earthquakes they have other places. Praise God these are little ones with no damage. I think they say they have to be a five before they cause damage.
Anyway, LOL, I have been awake for almost three hours!
Oh my Sharon, that is horrible! What is up with Mother Nature this year! I think she has the virus. So glad you are safe!
Lots and lots of snow here, son said he thinks its about 8 to 9 inches.
Will be back have to feed dogs and myself! Was up way too late but didn't want son outside in those wee hours with no one else up. So cold and it was still snowing.
Good morning! Thank you all for your prayers for my uncle. I don't have any news yet this morning. His oldest (and only girl) lives in N. Las Vegas and was driving this time to see him. He is in my home town in northeastern Oregon so about a 13 hour drive. Uncle Duane is my mom's last living sibling.
Kathy, praying for your friend's MIL. Kidney stones are so painful - and the ones I've had have been small and not requiring medical intervention. She is better off not being in the hospital in my opinion. Those places are full of germs and need to be avoided whenever possible.
Oh my, Shirl, you have brought back memories of my mom with your comment that you always have a tissue with you. She did too - in pockets, up her sleeve, in the pocket that we ladies have, wherever she needed to tuck it to have it with her. She used to sneeze multiple times in the morning. I jokingly told her she was allergic to mornings! It was how I knew she was awake though.
Your poor DH with all of those allergies, Gracie. Does being in Arizona help him some with those?
Sharon, what a rude wake up call! We were living in southern Cal when the Northridge earthquake happened - though we were out at the desert visiting my parents so didn't feel the worst of it. We didn't live too far from Northridge so would have felt quite a jolt. Our place was fine, just a couple of things knocked over. That was when I found out our place was built on a rock. Our friends, who lived not far from us, had more damage because their place was built on land that had been filled. Made me think of that song, "The Wise Man Built His House Upon a Rock." After that earthquake, we put child safety locks on the cabinets in our home but, fortunately, never needed them. There were frequent earthquakes there but most I never even felt.
Vickster, so lovely to see you posting more!
Well, work calls....DH is reading on the love seat, both girls are asleep and I have to go to work! Oh well....I'm thankful.
Sharon how awful, is it to do other fracking as it seems a lot in a month, I know in Boulder creek near Santa Cruz they have small ones all the time , our DILs cousin lives there but I think that’s on the fault lines, you can track them apparently!
DH said officially we had 7.5 inches of snow. Heavy, wet snow. He had problems with the snow blower getting blocked and iced up, so between that and shoveling, he managed to clear the driveway. Of course, just after he finished, the plow came through again. They go fast enough to throw the snow at least 6 feet into the drive. Ours isn't too long... you can fit 3 cars bumper to bumper with a little space between and 2 cars wide.
The foot of snow we got last week is almost totally gone. What a waste of shoveling but it had to be done or we wouldn't have been able to go out to moms garage or barn. I found more horse tracks down my front yard!
It's above freezing so no problems with pipes. DH is still hunting, but his friend is our mechanic and took the truck in to fix a leak.
I went to Walmart. I got everything on my list except I had to buy a different cat food because they didn't have the flavor I normally get. They had everything on Mom's list too, plus I picked her up a box of the fish she likes because they had been out of it every time I had gone down. Today they had lots so I bought her a box just to be safe. I also got a dunkin' coffee but had to wait in a long line at the drive-thru.
Jan, the geologists say we are on a fault line, and it is normal plate movement and not fracking. But , like everyone else around here says, I have been here most my life, and it ain’t normal! LOL
A lot of snow Melody! And that is a long large driveway! Your DH must be exhausted!
I also have Kleenex in every room because of allergies and sinus, which is going crazy right now. Snow yesterday, pouring rain today, back down under 30 tonight, it’s ridiculous! Even DH was sniffing and coughing a bit.
Most of the family on each side stayed home on Christmas, except DH’s DS1 and DS2, they each had a large gathering which we were invited to but didn’t attend. Now today DS2’s wife has a fever, got tested, and is positive for COVID-19. And DS2 was to have surgery on his shoulder next week and now he is quarantined for 10 days. He’s been waiting months for the surgery. DH said you should have thought of that before you decided to ignore all the warnings and have a party. He said it kindly, but In my own head I screamed it at him.

Now I have a chuck roast in the Instant Pot! My first time using it! Decided to just do the meat in it and not add potatoes.
Linda, so glad you received the birthday card! Mailed it early with all the delays lately. That card showed up on MY mail delivery! So messed up is the post office lately.
Kandie, that is so sad that your DH family did not follow the rules. But that is what a lot of people have done lately. We followed the rules and only Facetimed with family.
Kandie, they just don't think it will happen to them. By the time they really understand, it's too late. When I go to Walmart for mom, I drive her minivan. When I get home I take antibacterial wipes and wipe everything down, in case she decides to get in it. I wipe down the heat controls, the steering column, the turn signal, gear shift, keys, door handles (inside and out). Anything I touched and even stuff I didn't!
Tissues...ah tissue lol....Catherine your comment about your mum reminded me of me every morning and we also have tissues in just about every room..and I have them in pockets and up sleeves and tucked in my bra at times lol. I sometimes forget to take them out when I do the washing...oops. I get into trouble.
Sharon, another earthquake..yep Mother Nature is cross. Keep safe.
I didn’t get to craft yesterday but I intend to today once I’ve done a chore...a job first and then play. It’s NY eve and just another day here. Nothing happening this end. My father passed away at new year so I don’t particularly find it a jolly time. I used to love it during my youth.
Kathy I did play with a Gina K stamp set 2 days ago..how weird is that. Maybe you and her came to visit.
A friend who is religious wants to cleanse our home and has told me to remove any statues such as Buddha’s, etc. not that we have some. She says we may have bad energy in our home and why we both got sick at the same time and asking me what did I bring into the home 6 months ago. She has been helping people here. I trust in God and don’t think I need something else and DH just rolls his eyes at her. Oh dear. What do you ladies think?
My friends brother aged 53 passed away yesterday. He is the guy who was diagnosed less than 3 months ago I mentioned. They have had such a lot of grief this year. So sad.
Yes Ann some people don’t follow the rules and cause community spread. It’s happening here again. Eek. Enjoy your IP.
Have a great Xmas eve...2021 is nearly here and will be here in NZ before us lol. May it be a brighter and better one.

Jayne, is she thinking something came into your home with bad juju? Six months ago is a lifetime in the craft shopping world! It seems more like a perfect storm of health issues that strangely came together all at the same time.
I’m so sorry to hear about your friend’s brother. What a miserable year this has been.
