Default Tombow Glue

Curious about the following. We always see Tombow used From the liquid side by cardmakers.
What if any use is the bottom end which looks like a glue stick? I have never seen anyone use this end and wonder why the makers of this glue make it this way.
Seems to me better to just make it all liquid......what have I missed in my 15 years plus making cards?😀

The bottom applies a wider strip of the glue than the nozzle end. Both are liquid. I use the wider end if I’m adhering a panel to the cardbase.

It's not a glue stick, think of it more as a spreader, with a hole in the centre for the glue to come out.

I've found when the glue has gotten quite old that it will apply better from the fat end than the thin. I think the thin end will twist off to give it a good clean out but I just use the opposite end, which is clear because I don't regularly use it.

I think that larger end is just a ruse to make it look like the bottle of glue is bigger than it really is

I actually never gave it a thought but after reading this post, I studied the bottle, and that larger end really does add a lot of "empty" height to the bottle!
