No it isn't easy. I really love sweet pea but I don't think that this can be resolved. They have been working on it for months. I just want to go over there and hug them both.
Lynn, so sorry to hear about sweet pea and grumpy. My daughter went through a rough time with her partner last year. It is tough on mama's when their children are so unhappy. Sending HUGS to all of you!

So an interesting day in Lynn land. Sweet pea moves out today. I have been trying to get my doc to approve my monthly meds refills for over a week. The pharmacy didn't hear back from the doc either but since I have been on these meds for a long time they did the refill. Grumpy went and picked them up since the pharmacy closes early on Saturday. Grumpy was talking about how crazy this week will be for him. The post has redesigned the depot and ALL the routes so when he goes in Mon morning it will be crazy!
I figured out how to give grumpy a hug! I wrapped him in a sheet then I hugged the stuffing out of him!
OK October is settled. October 9 is my birthday. The 11 is the day sweet pea and grumpy got engaged and the 12 is Canadian Thanksgiving. This is NOT a normal year! I have ordered a turkey breast dinner with all the fixings! Last year I tried unsuccessfully to get a turkey breast for the three of us. This year I preordered a meal. Worst case if grumpy and I are having a bad day, we can package it up for sandwiches!

So I have been doing busy work. I have downloaded files of planner stickers and print them out myself.. Then comes the fussy cutting!!! Last night I tried about 7 times to get a lilac set to print, it just spewed out paper. I sent a message to the vendor and she said the file was fine. OK spent about 2 hours on trouble shooting websites. No solutions. I imported it to PSE.. Modified it.. Recolourized it..saved as a different format.. Imported into word.. Adjusted margins and bingo! Now I need my head examined! Lol
Lynn we don’t notice the seasons here because of the heat, when we left England the leaves were already beginning to fall, it was lovely to see, we don’t have that here , we go from winter which is still warm to really hot almost overnight it seems. I miss seeing the spring bulbs, they just don’t grow here.
27 degrees here tomorrow...warming up...then it’s going to be cool again lol. My shorts are not coming out until it’s at least 30 degrees lol.

OK I am losing it! I have no idea where my message from yesterday went. I have to take pics in the morning cause as soon as the sun passes over the top of the building then there is too much sun for a picture.
Two weeks ago today I requested refills on my meds so that I wouldn't miss any. Last week I called the doctors office at least 12 times to as for the approval but no answer. By Friday I had none left. The pharmacy was able to extend my normal medication but nothing for pain relief! Yesterday I finally got to my doc and got approval. Today I can't walk from pain. My son had to run out and get the pain meds for me. What did I do wrong??
Lynn, my meds were shipped last Friday and still in transit somewhere! I get my pain meds at local pharmacy so no wait usually but my cholesterol meds are maintence drugs so I have to do mail order for those. Luckily I forget to take them once or twice a week so I have plenty, but it keeps saying delayed but still on their way.
Lynn, Lovely pictures and I like the mug cosy! Hope the pain meds work quickly now you have some.
Luckily Steve has a paper that he just takes to the pharmacy every four weeks, it had expired but because of the virus the receptionist at the medical centre had the doctor extend it, she did it online so he can still get his meds. We heard yesterday that if you make an appointment the doctor rings, not sure how she can do a diagnosis over the phone!
Jan our Drs also do telephone appointments. It’s more for those ailments where you just need a quick chat and not to be examined. If she isn’t happy, then she will say we need to go in. It’s a great service and includes phoning for new scripts too.
Happy weekend everyone...see you sometime next week...I am determined to do more creating and less chatting saying I will do things lol. I have to otherwise I will still have a very long to do list this time next year lol. Keep safe and well.

My doc visits have been over the phone. Mostly to check everything is the same. The govt made it that I had to see my doc every two weeks for my pain meds.
The covid and my allergies to antibiotics we are keeping me isolated. So even though everything else is opening up I am still staying in. I go out once or twice a week for about 30 minutes for supplies, that's it. To me it looks like Toronto is headed for a second wave. The numbers are steadily increasing.
Oh my toilet is running.. Wondering if I should attach my fitness tracker to get my steps in! Lol
Lynn I bought a craft mag and they were showing the cosy mug covers just like you made, what a trendsetter you are!
Well that’s why steve doesn’t go shopping, I go in and he stays in the car, I’ve got used to it now so it’s no problem and we are still not fully going out, we’ve been out once since we got home, we’re hoping it’s not the usual bun fight at the hospital on Monday when steve has his skin cancer check up,it’s usually packed so I’m not sure if I will be able to go with him, he’s just sent Tina a message asking if it’s still scheduled.
The cosy I made was very simple! Yup my hands are full of arthritis. Oh what I was trying to say is I did a simple one that you can do with kids. There are a ton of free patterns out there for everyone no matter what your abilities are. I just hate that when my culpa finally gets to the right temp to drink I have to drink it fast! It is a cuppa! I wanna drink it slow! I haven't tried mine yet..oh I chose bright yellow so I can find it no matter where I leave it! Lol
here is the one I made. Since I used felt..I just cut it out with pinking shears then I didn't need to hide my raw edges
I love the masked singer! I'm always trying to guess who it is. Last night I thought the dragon was Dwayne Johnson! LOL. I was wrong. I think the biggest nightmare for the contestants would be to be unmasked and no one knows who they are!! How embarrassing would that be? I think that's why Nick Cannon always tells us who they are the minute the mask comes off. Good thing too because I've never heard of many of them! So how can I guess correctly?
