Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun! <o:p CHALLENGE: I always enjoy making Christmas cards for children. Santas, stockings, elves, snowmen, so many fun images to use. Our destination this week is a young boy who recently lost his mother to an illness. Holidays are often more difficult for grieving families, so let’s send some cheery holiday cards to Carson.
DESTINATION STATION This week’s teaparty recipient was brought to our attention by Denise (akacardcrazy) who had read about Carson’s story on Facebook. Sadly, Carson recently lost his young mother, who was only 25 years old, to Cystic Fibrosis.Carson’s great-grandfather, Tom, had reached out to request cards and uplifting messages for the young boy. His request has already gotten the attention of a few players from the Boston Celtics, Carson’s favorite team. Carson is just 7 years old. Let’s send some paper hugs and caring thoughts to this little boy.
Send your cards to: Carson Lane c/o Mr. Tom Lane P.O. Box 45 Errol, NH 03579 USA

I want to thank all of you wonderful, backyard fence card makers, ones from down under, across the seas and here in the states, for the out pour of cards for my husbands passing---we have a great bunch of caregivers to ones in need and is really appreciated---thank you very much, DonnaJeanne
I am playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking, catching up on my SCS postings, and building my Christmas stash all rolled into one. This card was made in August for my Christmas cards stash. It needed to feature something a young child might like at Christmas...fun, bright green mittens!
