I know this is a stamping forum, but I could not find another forum that seemed to fit.
Our church quilting group is decorating banners (to sell at our bazaar). Could someone suggest a product to use to add snow to some of the scenes? The images are pre printed, so this is to enhance snow on trees, etc. We need something that will work on fabric, that will not crack, and will look good next year!
Liquid Applique should work, Dorothy. It's designed for fabric. Or if you don't want to/can't heat it, I'm pretty sure that Liquid Pearls or even white acrylic paint (maybe even with some glitter mixed in) would work. I'm least sure about how well the paint would hold up, but you could try a test. So long as they are stored carefully it shouldn't crack. Any fabric department here normally includes a display unit with various textile paints and pens.
I would try modeling paste - it's easy to apply with a palette knife, and you can add dimension to it easily. This one in particular says that it's flexible:
