My budget's not quite ready yet for these but they are at the top of my list. I was hoping that that they wouldn't all look so darn good.......

I like black accents and I can see how the black could add some nice shading-back on the buy list. That's a beautifully done card BTW.

I wondered if Ranger just panicked thinking oh no we've already done Distress markers, stains, paints and glitters, etc., how can we squeeze out another ink in this line. Maybe adding water to ink and splotching things up just didn't fit well into their original paradigm as long time crispy image ink makers. TH really tweaks it.

Really - all this messy stuff and "distress" everything?

I have all the distress ink colors, but held off on the oxides. Recently I purchased a few of the brighter colors, Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, Worn Lipstick..and WOW, are they ever amazing. In a small way, I like them better than distress inks. Because they have a creamy texture and blend easier. I'm sure I will end up with every color them make eventually! You could hold off on buying the reinkers for a while, they'll stay wet for quite a long time I'd bet!

IKR? : ) They also stamp beautifully. And don't make muddy colors when adding as long as they're fairly (not even completely) dry. And regular Distress added in can make a nice more translucent layer on top of Oxides. And other stuff. lol

I have almost all colors of regular Distress too, all but two in minis, and I've been ignoring them too much.

Early b-day gift for me, ordered current set and have new colors on pre-ordered the new colors. Fun awaits!
