Neenah paper is certainly good paper but, it is pricey and not as readily available as the Recollections paper from Michael's. I really wish I could find out who was manufacturing the REALLY GOOD Recollections 110# paper. This new stuff is junk. AND, they raised to price to 14.99!

Some people have posted they've been able to the find older, US-manufactured paper, sometimes mixed in with the paper from China - just check the package.

I also use Neenah Solar White 110 in the Classic Crest line. NOTE: big box office supply stores tend to only carry a lower quality Neenah line called Exact Index.

When calling Neenah for assistance, you can also ask how to order their free sample booklet that shows every color.

In fact, you can order oversized single sheets and just pay for shipping. Shipping costs are a little high because the paper is huge. It's meant for companies that want to test it for printing brochures, etc.

Michaels had contracted with a U.S. paper mill to manufacture the paper to Michaels' specifications. Since Michaels moved paper manufacturing to China, no one would be making the paper. Michaels pulled the plug.

The new heavier is only a tiny bit better. I don't think you can beat Recollections 110# paper. Like Mikey says "Try it, you'll like it." Or LOVE it.
I am so sorry you had trouble folding our card stock. I have a video that shows how to fold it and get a crack-free fold. I hope it helps!!

Here is the video from You-Tube.
