Sorry, I had to edit because I tried to reply to one of the posts, but I'm new to this and didn't go where I thought it was going :p
I was saying "This is hilarious" to the post about getting caught on the big shot!

Reason: Explained above!
Stamps picked out for the first card! I won the $200 prize to TCP (The Cat's Pajamas Rubber Stamps) and I'm aiming to use them as many times as I can on my cards this year!

Thanks for clarifying, LOL, I was really wondering what you meant and figured it was something more like that!! Enjoy the event!

Great idea...I will try to use my Blueprints as that is what I used most of winnings on last year from MFT...
Anybody else on Instagram? Would be fun to share works in progress or craft areas or just about anything related to all our fun!
I'm njoystudio on there.
You can hashtag your instagram pics #hycct15 and #splitcoast and you can search for those tags to see other people's pics!

Just took a look at the first three write ups for the challenges for this year - great themes! I hope to be able to get at least a few cards made this year. Every other year I've been able to get cards made for each and every challenge but my mojo seems to have moved some where I'm not so sure I'll get a lot of cards made but I will try my best.
Thank you to each of you that is participating in Hope You Can Cling To 2015!
I battled breast cancer last year & I'm a Survivor now! Finished main (not fun) chemo in August 2014, double mastectomy in Sept, 2014 & had implants put in same time (way to go & most doctors don't think to see if this will work - thanks to my awesome cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Jeff Copeland for this plan!!!-one surgery-one recovery).
I finished all chemo in April, 2015 & removed my chemo port in May. Strength started coming back in July & have been getting back to "normal" ever since.
The only thing is chemo left me with thin bones & also Ostepenia (significant bone loss) in my left shoulder. I'm left handed so kind of a challenge. The shoulder has been hurting since January but didn't figure out til August why. Now they are thinking there is a tear & that's why I have days it goes wonky & hurts something fierce. MRI next week supposedly.
Anyhoo, its cutting in to my stamping. I'm learning to do a lot with my right side (although lymph nodes removed so causes some issues) but hey, if you want a challenge, try putting on makeup or shaving your legs with your opposite hand. Stamping, however, not so good with opposite hand - makeup-soso, legs shaved-soso. And really, could this not have happened when I didn't have any hair to comb or shave-LOL!
So, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!!!! There are so many people going thru treatments that could use just one smile to get thru the day. It makes a difference.
Attitude was everything.
If I get some days that I can stamp, I will use the spirit of this to make some cards & drop them off at my treatment center.
Thank you to all that take the time to organize & manage this and to all that participate.

Can't wait to start this year's challenges! My son's wedding was perfect and I am slowly recovering from 3 weeks worth of company. Unfortunately, full time work is cramping my style. I have tomorrow off and hope to get started in between regular chores. I will have to catch up on the chatter here later. Have a great day everyone!

Progress has slowed a bit with DD3 up...she is into one project for a few seconds and then onto another for a few seconds, so I'm up and down a lot now!!
I got about 4 hours of sleep last night and have to be at my kids' school for lunch in about 2.5 hours, so I should probably suck down my coffee and get in my craft room for a little while.

Sept. went by so fast! Had a great time at The Big E yesterday. A huge agricultural fair, that ive never been to before. My husband used to go as a kid. And now ready for tomorrow =)
Hi Sonia, I am a Florida Transplant from Ma (Greenfield area) & CT (Granby) and the Big E was an annual tradition! I do miss New England County Fairs (they are not the same down here) but the Big E was the best! So much fun to go to all the State buildings!

I've been trying to do some commenting, but my pooch is READY FOR HIS WALK. He keeps coming and laying his head onto the keyboard to groan at me so I guess maybe I'm going to have to take a break to walk. I call him my 4-legged fitness coach because he just doesn't give up until I get out there and walk. Who could resist?

It will NOT come as a shock for most of you but MUCH of my wardrobe is PINK! Shoes, socks, shirts, jammies, panties, bras.......I know you all really wanted to know that! ;)
Of course a lot of the everyday things I own are pink too! In fact, last October my hair was pink for my SIL! Who will celebrate her one year breast cancer free in December!!! She is and always be a special HERO to me!

Thanks so much for those of you who made samples for my challenge. I'm afraid I have been out of the loop for a while...life happens sometimes and sometimes it isn't the best.
I do so appreciate everything done for me in my absence...hopefully I will be more on board now but keep my family in your prayers please.

Thank you, kramomma!
That post I was responding to was really funny! I'll try to find it later and let you know! It was about how someone got her mammogram and every time she gets it, she said she looks at the plates and thinks it could be worse, like getting caught on the big shot instead, and then made a comment about how things hang with age. Just hilarious!

Yeah, I think I am finally caught up on the feed. Thank you to all that are participating this year and the wonderful hostesses that are getting us started. These challenges have been fun and I look forward to the challenges coming our way over the next few days.
