This week's inspiration site is so jam packed with inspiration that I changed my inspiration piece 5 times!! I'm sure you're going to love the spring and summer colors, textures, and patterns in every category on the : Pottery Barn Site. You'll be able to jump right in, discover something inspiring, and create something cool and beautiful right away - I'm sure of it - so enjoy!
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the site reminds you of it. :cool: Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Pottery Barn website.
Use the keyword: IC489 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorites..… so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). OH! This could be dangerous....er, costly! I love Pottery Barn and visited it often while living in Virginia! Gonna be a difficult decision, but here I go!

I was inspired by the cool and warm colors in the Aquatic Shift Wall Art and used my SU scallop circle punch for my smaller 4 "flowers", and 2 recycled large unfinished "flowers" for the center, under my sentiment. Finished with green drawn swirls, and a button/bows combo. Here's Flower Wishes

__________________ We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.

I am quite relieved we don't have Pottery Barn in the UK as there are so many lovely things on that site. I had a hard time choosing an inspiration piece but eventually chose a lantern (Cabrillo Moroccan Punched Lanterns) and here is my resulting card
