If you are regulars to the paper palace please consider parking at the house and walking through the yards. You can, of course, drop your goodies in the driveway instead of carrying them. Feel free to park in the driveway at both the house and the garage. My hubby is working tomorrow morning and will already be out of the garage.
Please do not plan to leave early. Your project will need to stay until everyone has completed it.

The fridge in the craft room is full of beverages... so not much room. BUT there is plenty of room in the fridge downstairs in the apartment. Feel free to walk in and use the fridge and oven later. Dad doesn't hear well and may not even notice you are there. ha ha.
If you are bringing stuff to sell, I would suggest your own table... all of my tables are in use. There is space, just no table space. ALSO.. bring cash if you want to shop... small bills suggested. I also have envelopes and white cardstock available... message me for details.
There is one flight of stairs with handrails.
Please avoid switching your food item to another "group". If you signed up for a main dish, bring a main dish... etc. Certainly OK to switch to another main dish however.
Talk amongst your carload about staying after 4 to chat, snack, and hang out. No deadline. Do we want to go to dinner later?? What are your plans? Or maybe just get pizza and hang here? Probably won't be warm enough to hang by the pool tomorrow... so sad!!

Bag packed. Cookies baking as I type. Even found a shoebox of things for the garage sale if I can squeeze them onto someone's table, if not, no big deal.
I'm all for hanging around and chatting at an after party if my travel buddies are ;) , and ordering pizza in sounds good to me. Will miss lounging pool side, but that's life in April in NY.
Almost ready here....I've decided to take this afternoon off, so I can get things packed, load up the car, get the kids from school, and then head on up to my mom's.
Bummed about the temp forecast up there - it's supposed to be in the low 60's both days here in POK.
I was going to bring garage sale items as well, but I don't have a table. I'll check with Mom, if she has one I'll bring it. Judy, I don't have a lot, so you can certainly use it. I'll post again tonight after I get there, to let you know if I'll have a table to bring. I know she has TV tables....maybe I could bring a couple of those...we'll see.
I am bummed that I have a cold but will have a large bottle of hand sanitizer to bring with me to each shoebox!
Arlene - I put the craft mat on my list of things to bring!

saves you from hauling it all upstairs just for us to haul it back down.

I had some time off from costume sewing last night, so I mounted the card fronts from the swaps I was in. First, I have to say what a nice job you ladies all did! Secondly, I LOVE that I now have a very good selection of Bday cards ready to use. It's so nice to have such a variety to choose from. I would love it if there was a swap at the other gatherings that focus on an event (Get Well, Sympathy, etc...) hint, hint ;)

Judy, you never cease to amaze me.....I was happy to just get everything unpacked, and my supplies put away. All my cards/card-fronts are still sitting out waiting to be sorted.... ;)
I also second your motion to have a 'focus' card as one of the swaps. I know my sympathy card inventory is very low....

I had a blast!! Loved all the shoe boxes. The food was great too. Perfect day. I haven't been through the swaps but was the recipe for the popcorn snack part of the swap? I had seen the recipe card in the container with snacks, so I assumed it was part of the swap, but now that I am thinking about don't remember seeing it when we swapped. Am I having the usual blonde moment?? If not, would whoever made it mind sharing the recipe??
