Does anyone know of a good brand of pigment ink, other than Stampin' Up, Color Box, and Versa Fine? I like to use clear embossing powder with colored inks, so they would need to stamp well. Thanks!
Oh, yes! I forgot about those, and I even have a few. Duh! I haven't embossed with them, though. Do they work well for that? Thanks!
I haven't embossed with the colors (yet), but I've embossed the black with black powder and it works great. The Luxe dries a little faster than some of my other pigment inks, but not so fast that I have to rush like crazy to get the powder on it.
I love Versacolor - so many colors to choose from!

Fresh Ink and Avery Elle have great colours and awesome coverage! Plus they are more fast drying pigment inks so not as messy as many of the others on the market.
Another thing to remember is that some dye inks are very 'wet', so if you are fairly quick, you can emboss them too, especially if your cardstock/paper isn't too absorbent. Always worth trying, as is using a clear embossing ink like Versamark on the image, then adding a dye ink over the top before stamping. That's embossable too.
I love the Tsukineko Brilliance and VersaMagic inks for slow drying pigment inks. Plus the colors are gorgeous AND they are available in the small dew drop sizes which makes them affordable and easy to store so you can get every color!

I love VersaMagic inks. Unfortunately, Tsukineko discontinued them back in January, 2014. If you like them and can find them, grab them.

They're still on the site - where did you see info about them being discontinued? I'd hate to see another ink disappearing! (the Tsukineko address now redirects to Imagine Crafts but the Versamagic page is right here)

I learned it from various places when it came out that they discontinuing them. Here is a link to one of the announcements at Marco's Paper:
You can still find them around, but the entire color spectrum is not as easily available. I have been stocking up on the dew drops at Joann's, but they are now down to limited colors.

Interesting, thanks! I'll see if I can learn anything from the horse's mouth (I've sent an e-mail) since the position looks a bit confused to me. I'll share if I hear anything back.

OK, I got a reply from Imagine on the Versamagic question:

Thank you for contacting Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukineko with your product question- I’d be more than happy to help!
While it’s true we have discontinued much of the VersaMagic line, we have not completely discontinued it. The link to our website you provided below will show a complete lists of what is still available. Our website will provide an up to date reference on products we offer.
So that's the link here. It may also be the explanation for why you're not seeing the full colour spectrum you've come to expect Skippet - presumably places are stocking those colours that are still available in the range (which looks like three dozen to me) and any that are outside that range are older stock.
I just bought some VersaColor cubes at the Great American Stamp Store, and I love the colors. I remember using and loving these back when I first started stamping - about 13 years ago. ;)
