SBVC185 - Emerging Colors
Create your own background paper using the emerging colors technique found here: Emerging Colors. Then use the paper as either the background of your layout, or cut it up and use it in some other way on your layout.
My Sample: Adams Falls
And here's another sample from my blog: Aquarium of the Pacific

Let me clarify the steps. First you stamp the repeated image on light paper using the lightest ink color. Then repeatedly stamp a bold image using Versamark ink and emboss with clear embossing powder. 3rd, use a brayer or sponge to cover the whole page with a darker color of ink. Last, random stamp a small image using the darkest color of ink. Use a tissue to wipe the ink off the areas where the embossing is. That will let your first color show through. Let me know if that's still not clear!

No, I think that is clear! Thank you. I will try it. I think I will like this technique for cards, too.

Loved this, but sorry it didn't show up in the photo well, but IRL it is great!
I plan on using this technique again for sure!
Thank you! Inspired me to get something done!
Here is mine.

Reading this thread has me anxious to check out the posts and technique. I'm checking out the finished work work but think I will wait a bit to read the technique, at least until my DGK's leave for home later today.
Sounds like fun and something I would like to try!!
