I got a couple of cards and some high heels in the mail yesterday...one from Anne Harmon (jdmommy) and one from Amy (amyk3868 ) so I signed on to SCS to send them a pm and leave a comment on their cards in their gallery.........and I had a pm from another teapotter who has been ill and she was apologizing for not being able to make a card for me and play in this week's challenge!! What??? What is she talking about?? This week is Tickle a Teapotter? So I did a little investigatin' and well, you all know what the result was! Giggle! Snort! Snicker!
Hey, what happened to the teapot with the joker checkerboard, just like the one in my kitchen? hee hee! You guys are such sneaky people, but I gotta tell you...I am tickled pink to have cards coming my way and it brings me to tears once again...first my aunt, then Eula and now you all sending me your love! Wowza, what an emotional week!
I am blown away and boy, do I have some commenting to do!!! Oh, and one more thing, I have always had a dream......I have always wished I could have time to mail a whole bunch of teapotters a card....couldn't do it at Christmas the last 42,000 years, but I have an idear now! Now that I have more time on my hands! Giggle!

Cindy, if your happen to read this, "just be blown away and feel the love"! Now don't you go worrying about commenting on SCS, you'll do it in the privacy of your own home and we'll feel it. I believe that I speak for every Teapotter, you so deserve this acknowledgement, this Moment.
And if your letter carrier(s) is a complaining, just tell them, it's job security. That should shut them up!
So, I think I will come here each day and post whose cards I got that day! And I am leaving comments on them as I get them and pming everyone! Tee hee! That is helping me keep things straight for my big plan.....
And you know I gotta do stuff like that because I am so easily cornfused, as you all know!!!

.interesting the mail service in different areas...cousin gets mail on M-W-F at the grocery mart in town....lol!! and they live right here in Ks...not some foreign place....but speaking of foreign mail...my friend was in Iraq last yr and I sent a huge box of treats for Superbowl hopefully to get there before game with notes all over it not to open until then...They get mail on Sunday and it arrived on game day....how fun...so they were chowing down on ritz crackers, salami sticks and canned cheese....

That would be the pits...and yes Sheri...I have heard that as well. Don't know why the post office isn't profitable. Lord knows the teapotters do our share of mailing stuff...and you know they get a pretty penny out of us as well! Geeze!

Cindy please don't give up the daily walk to your letter box. Mine is still somewhere between the USA and Australia. Just like Canada, we don't get weekend deliveries either.

I would wait 42,000 years for a card from you...I have peeked in the gallery, have seen it, but I have little system going on here...giggle.....I am commenting as I receive...snort! That way I can keep this ole brain of mine organized...ha ha! Its' gotta take a long time from Austrailia! How lucky am i to get one from you! Thank you girlfriend!!!
Lee-Anne, Cindy already received my card from Ontario. It's not that the mail is slow, it's just unpredictable.........sometimes, my mail to Texas gets there in one week, sometimes it takes up to 2 1/2 weeks. Probably depends on which customs' officer is working the border on the day the mail crosses.

I just noticed that USPS is ceasing it's Saturday deliveries of regular mail...not parcels etc. I've often wondered why they didn't do that to cut costs much, much sooner....

Remember, most grocery stores sell postage stamps.
As to omitting Saturday delivery, that's okay, what I don't like is they won't be doing collections. So when this does happen, we all need to remember NOT to put outgoing mail into our mailboxes for pickup.
