Default Wood to clear stamps

I think I want to change my wood stamps to clear - I would like to hear how others feel about this. Was it easy - any information would be helpful. Thanks.

I am almost finished unmounting all of mine. I went back and forth for months over it and finally decided to just do it I took the entire stamp, foam and all, off the block. I never had to microwave them, they all pretty much peeled right off without a hitch. I took the sticker off the block and stuck it to the foam and cut around when needed. I used ZIG 2 way glue to "sticky" them and found out about midway through that I should have put some glue between the foam and the sticker as well. Once I started doing that, they were perfect. I am sure you will get lots of responses as there are so many ladies that have unmounted and they all have their preferred method.

I microwaved all of mine for about 20 seconds. They peeled right off. I then used Aleene's Tack it over and over. I let them dry and them stuck them to my storage sheet. I LOVE IT! Also just moved my PTI stamps to Stamper's Best storage sheets. I'm loving the space i've saved! Good Luck!
