I am having a super busy Monday, so I decided to post a card I made for another challenge (I think it was Friday's but I did it Saturday). I water colored the solid stamped leaf images, spritzed with water and after they dried cut them out. The acorns are stamped with chalk ink and water colored in. I used pop dots to make some of the leaves "pop" off the cards.
I am fighting with my scanner....it "previews" the cards beautifully, then when it scans everything comes out blue-ish. So I've been using my phone to take the pics, hence the washed out fuzziness. My apologies.
I must be blind, because I am not seeing piercing on any one of these cards. You are talking about traditional piercing right? like you would do around a corner or something? Because I don't see it on any of the cards I have just looked at, and I looked at about 10 so far.

If you look closely at the challenge you'll see that it is paper piecing, not piercing. It is easy to confuse the two. I've done the same thing myself before.
Oooh! I've been wanting to paper piece this adorable owl I got for free from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps. Thanks for the perfect opportunity, Jen. Here's my card Sue's Owl.

This is a great challenge- paper piecing is what I just love to do! I left off all the bangles and beads, and went with a burlap and twine background. I have the stamp "Jack trio" from PSX stamp company and a little chick, probably from a Hero Arts mini stamp tub. The boy and girl (SU's Greeting Card Kids) seem very intrigued by the chicks and pumpkins!
