I wanted to thank all those involved in planning and executing a FABULOUS gathering in Milwaukee yesterday. I had such a great time. All the shoebox cards and swaps were FANTASTIC!!! I came away with a ton of ideas to share with my customers.
Stevie and your crew - a HUGE thanks and a round of applause to you all!

The pictures are wonderful. I will be putting them to a cd and printing out for my album. We will be doing this again next year and I sure hope you can fit it in your calendar again.
Thank you for attending this gathering, it was a pleasure to meet you.
From all the comments that we received, this gathering was a huge success and I thank each and everyone of you for that. I'm tired, I still have a "tired headache" and my craft room is a mess (not to mention the rest of my house), but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I could not have asked for a better group of women to join in together to make this event so successful.
I'm not going to mention individual names for fear that I would miss someone but I can't think of anyone that didn't contribute something to this group in some way. We laughed alot and stamped alot, hugged alot and walked away with our arms full of marvelous creations and that is just how I wanted it to happen. However, without the key element - 50 of the most wonderful ladies I have ever met - it would have never worked out this way.
So I can only say Thank you and happy stamping ..........Until next year !!
Robin is flying back to Newark now and I think she has some nasty things planned for those blackmail pictures. I better be nice to her because not everyone needs to see me singing into a beer bottle !! Of course the corus line you ladies made and being the high kickers that you were, deserves some publicity.
Oh wait, we were stamping the whole time weren't we??? After all Sister Mary Lana was keeping close watch !
You can let your hair down with me any time !!! I don't know if I can table dance anymore but you can and I'll be your back up singer. I'll bring my own bottle too !!! ROFL !!

Heya Stef,
Another BIG thank you for yesterday...I had so much fun, and if the weather wasn't so nice up here in Madison, I'd be using all the ideas I got yesterday right now!!! I gleaned so much info and so many ideas from all the beautiful cards that I can hardly wait until winter rolls around again so I can stamp more! Good thing summer in WI is only like three or four days (especially in May)! Thanks again, and I hope you know how much we all appreciated it!
Andi!

Hat's off to you Stevie, Donna, Nancy, and Cheryl. This event was very organized and such great fun. And if it hadn't been so hot in that room, we never would have met my friend Brandon! LOL! Thank you so much for gathering this group of SCSers together. This was such a wonderful opportunity to meet so many fellow stampers. Everyone was so nice and nobody hurt our Darthy & QC heads!
Hat's off to everyone for wonderful card designs and projects! This even would not have been so great if you each hadn't of done such awesome work! WOOHOO!
Sister Lana Rose-the newest member of the nunnery (and probably soon to be kicked out for abusing the walkie talkies and the microphones in the Karyoke Bar!)

Yeah, dude, I TOLD you that! I think you were too enamored with BRANDON to listen to what I was saying. Glad you led the cheer for him - he probably went home and put that in his diary! The first time girls cheered him and chanted his name! LOL! It was fun hanging with you, Lana! Glad you were there.

What a great time I had, it was all worth helping Stevie plan! We had some of "the best" swaps and shoeboxes I have ever seen! The gals really went all out with their creative minds and brought some awesome things! Loved all the shoebox cards, the individual swaps and what can I say about the "anything but a card" swap but they all "ROCKED"!!
I truly met some great new friends! The only bummer is I've got such a sore throat this morning from either a)talking too much, or b)singing to much!!
QC and Darth I'm glad you had such a great time with us, you were the life of the party!
Can't wait to check out the pictures, oh wait, that's right Robin was talking some pictures last night, oh maybe I better wait to see the pictures!
Looking forward to next year's gathering and I'm really bummed that I'll be missing the Northwoods Gathering in October, maybe I'll send a picture of me along with you gals who go, NOT (I don't know where I'll end up)!!!
A huge thank you to Stevie for stepping up and starting this great event!
Okay, I'm rested now. Sat outside with DH and the neighbors all afternoon and I'm makeing dinner now and thinking that we could do this next month !!!
Dang, that full time job sure does hinder things. Sister Lana Rose, couldn't you have some type of intervention here and I could all of a sudden have the ability to stay home and stamp. Come on work it sistah - What good is that habit if you can do a miracle once in awhile !!
Oh well, it will have to wait until next year. But in the mean time have I told you guys how YOU ROCK ? !!! I would never want to do this again but because doing stuff like hosting this event was so easy because of ladies like you (ladies, did I say ladies ??), next year can't come soon enough.
By the way, Kookie and Schrades how did you sneak out on us this morning? I know good byes are tough but geeze, now Robin will have to cut and paste to get you in the group photo ! You better ask her to use a publicy acceptable picture !! ROFL
Next year, more people have to stay overnight and socialize. We just had the best time just hanging out and talking. Then the above mentioned Karyoke Bar. I knew I was in trouble when the DJ handed me the tamberine after I was only there for 2 minutes! YIKES!
Kookie got absolutely NO sleep and when we got up at 6:00 we were wiped and didn't want to disturb you all so we bid you well from the hall way! We just really need to get home! but we talked about not be able to say good bye in the car and we agreed that you all know how much we love you, and that it would be okay!!!
I just hope that we didn't scare poor Tex out of ever coming back to WI with SISTER LANA ROSE graduating from the "nunnery" hehehe and the chorus lines and the ...... GOOOD TIMES!!
Michelle, I'm 5 minutes away and staying the night was the best.
Schrades & Kookie, we totally understand about needing to get home - but next time we'll give our hugs and thanks the night before. We had a great "after hours" time and you two were a big contribution to that fun. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us all and sharing. The entire day couldn't have been better.
Sister Lana Rose, confession schedule is the same time same place next year !!!
I am not good at goodbyes! Seriously, we were up early and needed to get home and didn't want to wake you all. I didn't get a wink of sleep cuz of the non stop fighting(literally) and yelling going on out side our window all night. Course Schrades was out like a light and didn't hear any of it.
I had such a blast Sat and hanging with you all that evening was awesome.
Everyone had such wonderful ideas! I have gone through my stuff so many times but still find something I didn't see earlier.
I just hope that we didn't scare poor Tex out of ever coming back to WI with SISTER LANA ROSE graduating from the "nunnery" hehehe and the chorus lines and the ...... GOOOD TIMES!!schrades
Ok... I just have to know... did you all corrupt my sweet innocent mother while she was there?
I hope so!!! ;)
Kidding... kidding
I'm planning a long conversation with her today to find out what all of you are really like!

Wisconsinites don't corrupt....I think she did a little corrupting herself... You better make it a mother/daughter all day chat, there is LOTS to tell. You are lucky to have such a wonderful lady as a mom.
~Tex~ I am planting my Texas Bluebonnet seeds this week!
Hi Jessica! Your mom showed us pictures of you and Eli! We had so much fun looking at them and talking! I was waving frantically to you in the pictures so if you heard some sort of ringing or anything in your ears, that was me! YOU, my dear Jessica, are beautiful. And both Eli and James are so sweet! I loved seeing you all!
Yes, I agree Kookie! Tex is a wonderful lady and probably the best mom! One of the biggest highlights for me was definately meeting you Tex! I just could cry when I think abou it. I love my necklace. I love you!

Oh... was that you I heard?! You're too sweet! (I am a bit partial, but I think Eli and James are pretty cute, too!) Was I all green with jealousy in the pictures you saw?! I heard y'all had sooooo much fun! In fact, what my mom told me was...
"What happens in Milwaukee, stays in Milwaukee!"
She is a pretty awesome mom, by the way! It's nice to have someone to share the SU!/SCS obsession with! Plus, as an added bonus, she always stays well stocked on the stamping magazines ;) !!!
Thank you Stevie!!!!!! What a wonderful get-together you planned!! And many thanks to Donna, Cheryl, and Nancy for being right in there with you!! It was mahhhhvelous!!
heeheeheee No Shrades, you didn't scare me off! I had sooo much fun! So glad I didn't miss Sr. Lana Rose's graduation! (Could use a bit more sleep, but couldn't we all?!)
Lana, you are so very welcome ... I'm truly touched that you like your necklace! This was an amazing, wonderful weekend for me indeed!
:o Jessica ... thank you!!
It's true. I'm officially going by the rule of "What happens in Milwaukee, stays in Milwaukee!" ;)
What a great weekend! Can't say we got a lot of sleep but boy did we have fun.
Thank you Stevie and crew (Donna, Nancy, & Cheryl) for such a wonderful event. And thanks to all the participants for such excellent shoeboxes and swaps! The quality and creativity was super! So many great ideas were shared by all.
I just finished posting some of my photos to the gallery. I include a few that may shed some light on our after hours fun but I'll save the rest for blackmail!
You guys are really something else. It wasn't the event that was great - it was the participants that made it great !! All of you are the best bunch of women that I have ever met and I'm very happy to have hosted this event just to be with you all again.
Beverly, You will have to come and visit us next year too. It would be worth it just to keep this awful job just to have the flight passes. It was great meeting you and maybe next time we can get your daugher to join in the fun with us and come with you !! How cool would that be. I too love my necklace. I wore it to work today and everyone loved it. Thank you so much.
Robin, you are the greatest. Your pictures and the story with it just rocks. I wish NJ and WI were closer too but if you need a weekend away, just give me a call and we will see what we can do.;)
As for Lana, Schrades, Kookie - what can one say (me speechless !!) There is no party until the three of you are with us !! And I know that this may not be the place but shouldn't we mention that one of you is having a significant birthday this week !@#$???? Well, I guess we can discuss more of that later!
I'm coming to the Northwoods gathering just so there is not so much time in-between the Milwaukee gatherings before I see you guys again. If you need any help with the Northwoods, just ask - I'll be happy to help.
Thank you ladies for making this gathering really, really, special.
After reading all your discussion here....I wish I'd hung around for the 'after party!'. Hopefully next year.
FYI - I just realized Saturday was my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY as an SU Demo. What a way to celebrate!
