I forgot to post that yesterday I received your terrific cards for the letter "U" (from 1st round of Alpha challenge.) I love them. Very creative and great to see them in person.

Thank you both very much!
You are welcome my friend. I'm so glad you like it. Huggs
Dani,
I was unable to post my "B" card due to losing electricity again. Would it be a problem to post it Friday. I have too many things to catch up, since I lost electricity last night and it did not return until late this evening.
Good evening, we severe thunderstorms warning, which turned into a tornado watch. We just had heav rain and high winds. However, I lost my electricity again. It just came on an hour ago. So, I hope everyone is doing okay.
Joan, my friend, you can post your card on Friday. That will be fine. I need to give you my phone number in case that happens again. This way I can hold the drawing until you can get it uploaded. Yes, the deadline is usually Wednesday, however, under the circumstances I think everyone would understand and give you a chance. It's not your fault you lost electricity. So, I will pm you my number and if ever this happens again, just let me know and I will hold off on the drawing. I want everyone that made a card to have the chance at being the Happy Mail Lucky Dog. But yes, please post your B card. I'm sure everyone would love to see it and leave love. I look forward to seeing what you came up with.

hi all I just wanted to say sorry for not being on and I will work on my "c" card hopefully tonight..........
with school getting out today finally I needed to "guide" my son to finish up his projects....
waiting until last minute is so like his father.
Thanks for choosing my card for "A" , what an honor.......
so here's the "c" card I did.....I combined it with the sketch challenge for today. As you can probably tell I really like the fast & fabulous set..........
Its been a busy day for me, I hve to replace m furnace and A/C. I've had one HVAC Company come today for the first of three estimates. I then went bowling with my nieces, after picking up my outfit for the wedding. next weekend. Mind you, I cannot bowl, but we had such great fun. Oh, we went to yoga to relax our mind and body first. I've had a full day and I'm running on skates. I hope everyone is doing fine.
Joan
Here is my card for the letter 'C'. I actually thought of something besides cat!! How 'bout a car. I'm having fun doing some vintage cards lately that I've uploaded to my gallery, so I thought I'd just continue the trend with my alphabet challenge card!
ok ok what are you all getting done so quick for?????? You know I don't get time till the weekend.... and this weekend is very busy for me...... off to a 5 yr old birthday party tomorrow morning...... you gotta be special to get an invite to those!!!
Us crazy Canucks are a pretty quick duo here. We could always give you a hand in finding you some ideas for a 'C' card........cap, cab, crocodile, crab apple, cartoon, cup, can, cocktail (oh! I like that one!). Oh! Oh! Canada!! Or you could do a crayon, cattail or a cockatoo. You could do a cat but we're still waiting for your cat card for the music challenge......I mean, umm, I didn't say anything......gotta get going to bed......
.....tip toeing outta here before Lauren throws the rock at me she hides under....
Ladies ladies ladies, throwing rocks at your age??? For shame on you. I'm guessing Suzy threw the rock first. Am I right Lauren??
Hello ladies. We are getting some wonderful C cards. Welcome back greengem32. You know, I really need to address y'all by your first names. I don't know why but some first names stick and some screen names stick. Goofy Dani. lol...
Joan, I'm sorry to hear you have to replace your furnace. What a pain in the butt. I know you are over there doing it with a smile. But with as busy as you are; that has got to be a huge inconvience, as well as an extra expense. I pray you find someone that can give you a good deal.
Ladies, I would also like to share with you that tomorrow's muscial challenge is going to be a special one so make sure you check it out. hehe...what does Dani have up her sleeve?
I forgot to tell y'all how excited I am because mybugandi was such a kind heart and sent me a stampin up catalog. And since this catalog doesn't start until July 1 and since my birthday is in July...guess what I told the kids I wanted for my birthday???? lol...They keep telling me that I better give them a list of places to get gift certificates for stamping stuff from. Otherwise they said they will have to buy me "stupid stuff". That is quoting my youngest dd. lol..So I gave them a list with online stores that I like and of course, mybugandi's name and number. I already spoiled dh birthday surprise. Well I didn't, the mail people did. They delivered my catillac of carpet cleaners without placing it inside another box. So when dh called last night I was thanking him up a storm and he was like "Why did you open a package that came in my name?" I said "I didn't. It wasn't in a package. It was just the carpet cleaner box." He was not a happy camper. However, I told him it works out great because now I can get the carpets cleaned before the big Fourth of July party we have every year. Yay!!! He was glad I am happy with it. Plus, it does bare floors. Yay!!!! That is all I wanted for my b-day this year. Well the carpet cleaner (steam cleaner), steam cleaner for the kitchen floor, and stamping stuff. So even tho it's not my birthday yet, I'm already celebrating. lol...I know I am worse then a kid. lol
My whole point is that I got to see the new stampin up catalog. How awesome is that????
so I left work early today thinking I was going to be able to come home and stamp........its raining so no outside work.
Wellllllllllllll, my lovely son has decided to wait for me to pack him clothes to go to gram and gramps. Now mind you he is 16 but, I must say very spoiled.
Maybe tomorrow as I said I would keep my great-nephew for the night tonight.
I think I need to rethink that stamping is or should be first once in awhile........
Oh Kelley do I her you!! The same thing seems to happen here too......although my two boys have left home and have children of their own, but just when I've planned an evening or weekend to just hide in my crafting cave and create I get called in to babysit Grandchildren. Sigh....I think we may just need to create a "stick to our crfting plan" support group for the times we get sucked in to alter our plans!!

Is anyone else having trouble uploading their cards? I keep trying to create a photo album for the swap I'm hosting, but SCS won't let me upload the pics of the cards.

Maybe you have exceeded the SCS upload limit/time limit. I have seen other posts from time to time. Maybe try again today and see what is happening. I think it is about 10 per hour or something like that. Good luck uploading!
OK today I am off to a 5yr old birthdday party, then an 8 yr old birthday party, then home later to see if I have any brains unscrambled enough to make a C card..... ;)
I finally finished my special C card for Suzy. I probably don't have to tell you we are the 2 crazy canucks and July 1 is Canada's birthday. So I did this one special for her. Wasn't able to make it out to get extra stuff I wanted so I am not certain if I'll try and make it better.
Why do I have a variety of friends who are all different in character?
Some of them can be considered marginal even?
How do I get on with them all?
I think that each one helps to bring out a "different" part of me.
With one of them I am a polite, good girl.
I joke with another friend.
I sit down and talk about serious matters with one of them.
With another I giggle at every silly thing.
I have my tea with one, and dance with another.
I listen to one friend's problems and give her advice
Then I listen to another advising me.
They are all like pieces of a jigsaw,
When completed, they form a treasure box. A treasure of friends!
They are my friends who understand me better than myself,
who support me through good days and bad days.
They are like colourful anti-depressants that I take on different days.
Real Age doctors tell us that friends are good for our health..
Dr. Oz calls them Vitamins F (from Friends) and counts the benefits of
friends to our well being.
Research shows that people in strong social circles have less risk of
depression and terminal strokes. If you take Vitamin F constantly you can be up
to 30 years younger than your real age. The warmth of friendship stops
stress and even in your tense moments it decreases the chance of a
cardiac arrest or stroke by 50%.
I am so happy that I have a stock of Vitamins F!
In summary, we should value our friends and keep in touch with them.
We should try to see the funny side of things and laugh together, not
forgetting to open our mouths big to swallow the floating vitamins F !!!

Thank you for being my vitamins!
Beautifully said. I too have a stock pile of vitamin F. Most, from SCS. I love my stamping friends. I always find it amazing how close we become all because of a love for the same thing; stamping. My Friends are awesome, however, my stamping friends ROCK and are AWESOME!!!!!
Well ladies, it is three in the morning. Oh wait, it is now 3:45. Wow time flies. lol..I have been up since three. My grandson came and spent the night. We watched Dr. Doolittle part one and two on the WII. He thinks that is just the neatest thing. Of course we had pop corn and snacks. I think we finally went to bed at 11. However, I cannot sleep so....here I am.
Greengem, I'm just glad life slowed down enough for you to come back and play with us. We miss our players when they have to attend to "life". However, we all know, it's important to tend to "life. I do hope things slow down for you so you can enjoy some stamping time. Welcome back!!!
Heather, I do hope you were able to load your cards. I know I can only upload one at a time. If I try anymore than that, it won't take. If you are still having troubles, let me know. I will give you the name of the person to pm about it. I'm glad you are back with us too. Welcome back!!!
Lauren my friend, are your brains unscrambled? I imagine after hanging out with children all day one would get a bit scrambled. lol..I do hope you had fun.
FMcrafter and Suzy, I can not imagine what you ladies are going through not having mail. That would really mess me up. I mean not only as far as "happy mail" goes but also with my bills. I know most people pay their bills online now, however, I do still write the occasional check out here and there. I do hope they get things up and running for y'all real soon. It's been long enough, I say. Oh and Happy Canada Day!!! I'm not sure if you say "Happy Canada Day" but I just did so....there...hehe. I hope you both enjoy your day to celebrate.
FMcrafter, wow Suzy sure is lucky. Your card is beautiful. And your "Vitamin F" post....absolutely beautiful. I guess that would be a good vitiman to overdose on. hehe...
Well I think I will check out a couple more forums and then go lay down again. I have to post this week's Musical Challenge today. It's a special one so make sure you check it out. I will be back to chat later. Have a great day ladies.!!!

I'm just not able to get anything completed.
II hope everyone have a great day today
Joan
I have some important information. Please please please write this down so you never ever forget it. If you have a superglue bottle that is gunked up with glue around the tip...never ever try peeling it off with your fingers. However, if you are like me and do it anyways...never ever pull your fingers apart. IT HURTS!!!!!! lol Yes, I really did it. All together now..."DUHHHH DANI"
