My CAS2011summerDT2 color challenge card. I love this color combo and had so much fun making this peachy keen card :p Thanks Jen and Denise for another fun challenge. Thinking of you Jen constantly with positive thoughts.

Quick question... is the reveal party on Friday the 3rd or Thursday the 2nd? I do things like that all the time with dates! Just wasn't sure which night to check in.

Jen -- I hope your son is getting better by the minute. You have so much on your plate right now; thank you for holding this challenge for all of us when you are so heavily occupied with family matters. My prayers and good thoughts go out to your son and all of your family.
Brian came home from the hospital, yesterday. He's doing great! He's getting stronger and is able to move from side to side on his bed unassisted. He rarely takes pain medication, now.
Brian has a new diagnosis:
renal arterial stenosis (spelling?)
His right kidney is really small. There's narrowing of the arteries. So we'll be seeing a specialist. Until then, we monitor his blood pressure and give him blood pressure medication accordingly.
Although it isn't great, at least we have an answer to the mystery. kwim?
Brian thought riding home in an ambulance was really cool. LOL
How is mom? I'm incredibly exhausted. And I must have twisted my back doing something. The right side of my back is very painful. With that exception, I'm doing great moving Brian and I can change a bed quickly, with Brian still in it, like a pro. I've learned a lot of cool tricks... one of the benefits to the longer hospital stay. I'll take a picture soon with Brian in the Hoyer lift... that's how I get him to the wheelchair and back.

Oh Jen...glad to hear Brian is getting stronger! It is good to have a name for something that is going on...doesn't always make it easier but the unknown is so difficult to deal with!

Wow Jen.....You, Brian, and family are real troopers :-) So great hearing all your news of so much progress. I am sure the renal stenosis can be dealt with and yes, so good to know what caused the high B/P. We will still keep you in our thoughts and prayers for a fast, fast recovery. Can we send Brian get well cards? Sure would like to do something besides our prayers. Thanks again for the update. We all feel like family and truly are concerned. I've been asked what Brian likes: robots, aliens, dogs, guitars, and bowling. Yellow is his favorite color. He loves numbers and figures of speech. (Yes, he is a unique child! )

WOW...thanks Jen for picking me to go for round 3 (and congratulations to everyone who made it!). Also...thanks for giving us some extra time on this! We have a jammed pack weekend around here...we are redoing our dining room (it's been 20 years since we've painting, wallpapered and put down new carpet - LONG overdue!).

First of all, so glad to hear Brian is home after an exciting ambulance ride. Hope your back feels better soon!

Meg...congratulations on this being your last day of school!!! How wonderful! I go through June 10th and then the summer session starts on the 15th...never ANY break in there! At least I'm only looking at a 5 week quarter for summer instead of 10!
