Love all of the above ideas but just bought two sheet music stamps in the last week, so that is my lastest craze. LOL Actually, I think we all just like to buy something new to stamp! LOL Are we all addicted? The answer is Yes, Yes, Yes. LOL
I have so many favourites...
Oriental
Egypt
flowers
faces ( truly one of my all time favs)
body parts ( I know this sounds weird- but there are things like torsos, hands)
BIG cats- lion, tigers ( no bears)
beach or seashore ( I live near the seaside)
I could go on and on, and it seems I have.
It appears I am not alone in my love of trees and leaves. Secondly I love birds and all things avian, and thirdly I am drawn to whimsical images that express joy. In the beginning, I thought two or three stamps in the same category was enough.....not anymore.... LateBlossom said it best, "enough" plus one more!
Not judging by what I have most of--flowers, which I do love--my favorites are leaves and trees, but I'm also really into baroque designs and flourishes. These can be used year-round and for any occasion. (I'm a pretty pragmatic person for a crafter.) Of course as holidays come and go, I also use a lot of pumpkins, stars, hearts, snowflakes, etc. Lately I've been buying anything silhouette--especially abstract stuff like Organic Outlines. I guess I really, really like stamps!!!
OMG, I'm not the only person that has tons of trees and leaves? Thank God!!
I also have lots of animals, especially horses but I'm fussy about them to, they have to be balanced. So many are not realistic. I'm really getting quite a collection of Autumn stamps too.
Anything and everything, not all that keen on vintage but hay everything has it's place and at last count I was reaching nearly 5,000. Over the past year though, I have mainly bought stamps that you can colour with Copic Markers. I just loooooooooove my Copic Marker.
As I might have said before... a girl can never have too many flowers! Sorry to be boring but I just love floral stamps. However, this time of year I have a real soft spot for snowflakes and reindeers. Oh and trees of course that I can bling up with lots of glitter and gems!!!
Mostly cats. Have not counted them lately, but I'd estimate around 500. I am also into trees, flowers, and cutsey. I am picky though in deciding what I want to purchase.
My list: dragonflies, ladybugs, butterflies, birds & flowers. then there's snowmen, peguins, snowflakes, cardinals, chrsitmas sentiments.
Seashells, dolphins.
Brands: magnolia, whipper snapper, house mouse. and then holidays as they come.

What?! No one said doilies? Honestly, I don't even like them in real life, but if I could fill a drawer with doily stamps, I would.
And I am all for woodgrain or text background stamps. If a card is missing something, I have to resist the urge to add woodgrain or text to it. Most of the time, I can't resist ;)

I have a weakness for trees, snowflakes, and amazing fonts. You wouldn't know it to look at my collection though because not only am I ridiculously picky about the above (no five- or eight-armed snowflakes in my house!) I try to spread the love to include things that my friends and family members would like too.
Okay so I think that mine is the swirls as you can use them on just about everything, Whether it be as a background, but anything. I love this post and can not believe how many of you love butterflies, trees and leaves. Am I missing something? Oh oh and I love the Wonder and Joy kids.
