I have been a member for about 6 months and have been coming to this site for about 4 years. I totally love it. I have never posted because, well I am just a little slow on the lingo! Well maybe alot slow. I have been rubberstamping for almost 10 years and am thrilled that a SU demo friend turned me into a SCS aholic! Thank you so much for the ideas, the tutorials and all of the help. Looking forward to becoming a hobby demo soon, and maybe be as good as many of the cards and ideas in your gallery. Thanks Christine::rolleyes:
I am new on this website. I found it following a link and i think its great!!!I am addicted to ART- drawing, painting, cardmaking.........Its great to know there are many people around with similar passion and hobbies!
Take care
Alright dont I feel stupid I've been on here checking out all the ideas for atleast the last 6 monthes and "thought" I had registered but just realized I didnt.... call me slow, so hopefully now its right. Thanks to all of you for the WONDERFUL ideas
I am so glad that my friend directed me here. This is totally amazing. I am overwhelmed at all the information that is on this site. I was telling my girlfriend that you could spend the rest of your life here and still not see everything on here.
Wonderful job people and thanks the great site.

Well, here I am...posting a message for the first time! How exciting! Have looked through the site for only 2 weeks and I am amazed at all the info...I have been scrapbooking for several years, but stamping only recently after I joined an SU group in my area. I have many questions that have risen in my attempts to navigate the site...but they are slowly being answered as I look around OR the questions are being answered as I slowly look around. Anyway, I'm so looking forward to this venture into creativity. I just printed out the acronyms that I found on one site, so that I can understand what everyone is saying! I must say, I've never been so attracted to a site that has postings...this site has that and much, much more...

how do I get my uploaded photo to appear under my username when I post replies or cards of my own?
Click on your user name and then edit avatar on the left hand side of your stats page. Then, you can download a picture that you have downloaded. Just follow the directions on the screen, it's really easy.
I want to add an avatar, but I can't figure it out...I saved my avatar in Word (My Documents) and tried to pull it over, but it said Invalid File...for one thing I have no idea what my URL is...I'm kind of a dunce when it comes to these things...could someone help, please? :-(

Hello... I'm new to this site and didn't realize I was giving myself a name (TinaG604) to use to post messages with. Can I change that anywhere??? Also... is there a way to find out how people did their cards other than what they write on the picture pages of it showing their supplies??? (Sorry if I am asking in the wrong way... I don't know what the sites are actually called.. Gallery, maybe?? Thanks for your help and hello from Iowa!
I am trying this for the first time and am not sure what I am doing! I wonder who can tell me how to become a member of the SU demonstrator sote? I am a SU Demonstrator. Tks!!
Have trouble keeping track of which forums and posts you've read and which you haven't? Here's a couple of tips.
At the top right of the main forum index, look for the link that says View posts since your last visit. This will do just what it says - give you a list of all the new forum posts since the last time you logged on. Try it!
Something else to try. Normally, next to forum categories you'll see a little icon (shown below). When you log on to the forums, and you see an orange version, that means there are new postings in that forum category. Neat, huh?
I have no idea what I am doing! If I am in the right place or not.
If you've never used a message forum like this before it can take a little while to figure out what it's all about.
The first item you clicked on, called 'START HERE' is a forum category. Forum categories are created by the administrator of the forum.
Inside the forum categories you will find forum topics. The second item you clicked on, called 'Read Me first', is a forum topic. Topics can be created by any registered members, not just the administrator. Anyone who posts a reply will see their message displayed right beneath this one. In that way it's possible to have a conversation between lots of people and have all their responses in one place.
Try posting a reply to one of the topics in the forums, or create your own topic. If you've got any questions or have any ideas to help us improve the forum, post a message in the Reader Feedback area and we'll be sure to help you out.
Thanks, and welcome to the forums!
My first post. Thanks so much for the informational guides.
I am a newbie both to this site and to stamping but thought I would say that the stuff on this site is fantastic...I have never seen anything like it. If anyone knows of a few great Bridal Shower invitation ideas I would love to see them.
The invitation info was printed from computer on the "handle pull out". The whole theme of the shower was purses. I can include the favors that I made too if you would like to see them. HTH
That would be wonderful - could you email me the how too's for the cards and the favors...My theme is pretty tame for this shower but it looks great! We are having a fairly relaxed shower but I wanted something cool for favors and such and we are asking each person attending to bring a gift for a certain room of the house. You can email me at [email protected]
I too am very knew to all of this. I know that this site has many great ideas and almost any scrapbook store I have come across offers classes and ideas as do most demonstrators.
I just registered and I guess I left off the L in angel. I tried to reregister and it wont let me. Please help. My fingers move too fast sometimes and I leave off letters all the time. How do I reregister with my correct name. Im glad there is a spell check on this!!! Cant wait to browse around and see whats going on.:p
I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place or not, but...
I uploaded a card last night, and it was moved today. It was under the Kindness wheel, but it was moved to the Scatter Sunshine wheel gallery. It's definitely the Kindness wheel.
Can someone please let me know how to get it put back in the correct gallery?
Thanks!

Hello to All, I am a newbie to this site as well as to forums. I am sure I will get the gist of everything as I accesss the site more often. It looks like a great adventure and I look forward to making lots of new friends. I am Australian too, V. Beaumont and an avid cardmaker.I do a little scrapbooking but my first love is cardmaking as I have been doing it for about 12 years
I don't know how to navigate this site! I'm sure it's pretty awesome, if I could just understand how to access everything, change my settings (I want to put a pic too!), attach some ideas to share and tons more!! Help!

I am a new member to SCS. I have been lurking in the gallery for a while, and didn't realize I needed to join, since I'm not usually active on forums. This is such a great site and so inspirational. I'm looking forward to posting and getting some great ideas from this site.
