Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending June 13, 2010
Welcome to the weekly Clean and Simple, or CAS, Favorites thread! Everyone is invited to post links to their favorite CAS cards and projects from last week's gallery submissions. If you missed the gallery, checking out the links posted here is a great way to catch up.
Let me just say to everyone, AWESOME job in the gallery this week! Tons of beautiful stuff. I am blown away by the talent here on SCS every single day. Thanks to everyone who takes time to post their cards to the gallery to share their inspiration with the rest of us.
My favorites list is long this week, so I'll put it into two posts.
happy2stamp4ever posted a delightfully simple and pretty hydrangea card
bon2stamp went one-layer with her soft sunflower card; note how much depth she created by sponging
sgoetter combined a butterfly and star on a one-layer, monochromatic card that conveys its message beautifully
artsy_em created a whimsical Be Happy card with an adorably stylized tree and BLING!; she also posted a lovely butterfly card
snail's Winged Bug blew me away with its freshness and awesome coloring
LeAnne Pugliese used sponging beautifully to highlight the beauty of her hydrangea (that stamp got lots of great use from lots of people this week!)
Kim Scotti used a wonderful quotation from Mother Teresa as the focus of her elegantly understated CAS challenge card
cricketeer made a Georgian Bay sunset card that is completely wonderful
Smoatsmom combined SU sets beautifully on her lovely CAS sympathy card
atsamom made a delightfully simple thinking of you card that combines soft watercolor/sponge effects with a little gold half-bead as the perfect accent
JBgreendawn got her liquid pearl dots perfect on her super-clean Simple Love card
keuby scored again with her romantic yet crisp and clean Love Grows card
lilylindsay posted a PERFECT guy card with her little tie made from cool DP
amykilbreath got her 4yo son to help on her happy CAS70 card
angelahath's Come Fly With Me card is everything CAS should be...clean and simple and beautiful!

naturecoastcrafter used fun colors and one bit of bling on her So Special card
sf9erfan used fun stamps, a perfect sentiment, and drawn lines to frame it all on her CAS card
hskelly took a single stamp and made it completely shine with perfect coloring and A Muse twinklers
mtgchic posted an absolutely adorable Doggies Make You Rich card
fionna51 used white and red for a very clean feel on her CAS70 card
ravengirl's Life Happens card takes black and white to a whole new level with a touch of sahara sand
resqbarbie made me spit coffee on my computer with her absolutely true Pretending to Be Normal card
stampingout used thickers and repeated a border punch in lots of colors for a really fun effect on her CAS70 card
Miss Boo made a subtly elegant CAS70 card that made me gasp when I saw it

Thank you Susan for favoriting my Sunflower card this week. What an honor!
Some of my favorites this week have already been listed. I don't think these have.
ambouth's Cameo Coral and Kraft with the cute cutout really caught my eye
vdutchr's Christmas peace was an inspiration to get started on Christmas cards
I love FubsyRuth's thoughtful card. The little flowers just make it pop.
bfinlay's Hope really spoke to me.
And msb4u's Simple Flowers really wowed me.
So many beautiful cards this week. |
