~ TEAPOTTER AWARD ~ WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITH THIS CARD AWARD!
This is my story:
You knew it was bound to happen! Each week when I look at the Teaparty cards coming through the gallery I am amazed by two things, well more than that, but right now two things are top of my mind.
1. How you guys can make such wonderful cards inspired by the goofiest teapots and stories, put your own story with it (even though its not required) and actually are able to add it to your stash of cards to send to future *normal* people!
2. How you guys can make the funniest, goofiest, simply mind boggling and confusing cards which leaves non-teapotters thinking....whoa, this is sorta off the wall....what was she thinking??? Snort!
Well, because of that I figure when you make a gorgeous awesome wonderful card on Tuesday, the award for your efforts is the teapotters oooing and awwing over it and also that someone *normal* will receive it and be so thrilled!
But when you make the other kinda card, the award for all of your efforts is all of us teapotters giggling, snorting and being amazed how goofy you are but you don't have the second opportunity to send it to a *normal* person.
So, I thought you should be compensated for that! So you now will have the chance to be entered in the running for the weekly:
WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITH THIS CARD AWARD!
So as you travel from location to location building your goofy card stash, no worries one of them could be an award winner! You can come here and nominate a card if you would like or just point something out. I'll be starting a special thread just to post the links to the award winning cards! Giggle!
Update! I think I will go back and start this in January cuz after 52 weeks of award winners, wouldn't it be fun to have a teaparty at the first annual 2011 AcardaMe Awards where we will award the *Best What am I Gonna Do With This Card of the Year!*
And do we get to walk the red carpet at the AcardaMe Awards?? Bet we see lots of bling and paparazzi will be fighting to get the first pic of the award winner LOL!!

Oh, most definately. And......Johnny Depp (he still has a crush on me, oh brother!) is gonna have his people get in touch with our people about our attendance at some of the after awards show parties too! Of course, its tea....cuz that's what we do!!! Snort!
Well, since you made it a major point to tell me how 'goofy' my card was, despite the fact that it took 42 hours to make, I suppose you'll want to nominate me for the award! That's okay; I can handle it.
PS HamiltonGal, there better not be any red carpet and paparazzi around. I need to lose 42 pounds between now and tomorrow!

And I didn't even see this before I PM'd you back.....yep, it was bound to happen...there should be lots of contenders for the AcardaMe awards...acceptance speeches limited to 2 min. please....giggle.....y'all can look for me at the after awards show parties...I'll be circulating and trying to hit all of them...
Oh Anne - we'll specify that the paparazzi only use cameras that take the pounds OFF - not add them! After all, in the world of make believe, we can have any rules we want!! With the Mudder's permission of course SNORT!
Because my MMTPT cards don't fit the 'normal' category, I've held on to them...they will be a part of the fantastic legacy of 42,000 unsent cards I'll be leaving for my children to drool over (along with bibs in appropriate sizes). How could I part with even a single one of them, I ask you?????????, when they mean so much to me!!
I'll be enjoying that skinny camera and the marteani's on the REDcarpet walk......and that's perfect for me! SNORT!!

Kinda like who would you send a card to with Lee Press On Nails shaped in the form of the flower? No WONDER you came up with this great idea...love it!
I'm just going to ask the paparazzi to turn their cameras upside down so that some things appear larger than normal and others smaller than normal in a better way...

What a cool idea. Because in spite of my best attempts, some of mine definitely end up as only suitable for sending to another TPT-er. But hey, I got a usable Christmas card out of this week's challenge!! Seeing as how it has *magpies* on it, as you mentioned igloos, it might just end up going to Bertie, but it could do as a general card too. I'm just waiting to see if cards stop uploading dated 1901 before I upload it. I didn't make it 42,000 years ago, I only made it yesterday.
Ha! Ha! You guys crack me up! Kelly brings up the acrylic nails and Marilynn jumps right on it! OMG! The butt ugly card...could it be that I may win one of my own awards? Snort! We need to take sumo wrestling lessons again, that was fun! And its the one sport its okay to be the size I am! Giggle!
