My name is Violet and I've just joined your Community. I live in the UK, near Glasgow, and I am excited by all things arty and crafty. I am a novice at participating in forums and blogs, and hope, eventually, to start my own blog to share my card making and other crafts - but words like Domain, widgets and downloads raise the old anxiety levels. If anyone has any tips this would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Violet and welcome to SCS from cold, snowy Michigan! Totally understand anxiety levels over those words but it does get easier - I just make up my own names for those words!
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly - we have snow here too but I suspect its not at the same level as Michigan! I'm sure you are right, change the words to something you know and feel more confident - yes?
Welcome to SCS! I would recommend using Blogger to create your blog. It is very user friendly and easy to fix when you mess up!! And it's free! How great is that!!
Thank you Allee - I will take a look at the site, I like the user friendly idea (and free sounds inviting too!) Took a quick peek at your blog and Christine's above too, got a lot to aspire to.
Opening a gallery here at Splitcoaststampers is also a quick and easy way to share your work with people who share your passion for crafting and card making!!
Hi everyone,
My name is Denise and I've just joined your community. I live in Canada near Montreal and I love learning new techniques in stamping, stenciling, pergamano(which I teach) quilling ,and all things connected to cardmaking. The internet jargon often freaks me out also but maybe with time I'll learn new tricks, I sure hope so... Thank you for letting me participate...God bless you all.
