Amanda - I loved looking at your Christmas decorations. Your house must look really Christmasy. After the kids wer in bed (many, many years ago), I always loved having all trees lit up, then turning off all the other lights. It was pretty and peaceful.

I havent done anything yet. Wish I had retired the end of Nov. Got wish lists from the kids today. I wasnt going to shop online this year but I guess I will Im so far behind.

Dental visit went both good and not good. my first cavities EVER in 40 years of having teeth. waaahhhhhh. But the xrays went swimmingly, cleaning went quickly and mostly painlessly, got extra protection on a couple of 'at risk' teeth, floruide treatment and the whole thing( not counting the fillings which get done on the 21st) cost me a whole whopping $54. Guess Tricare dental doesn't suck quite as badly as I thought...
Well, finally called the cable company and they're coming to hook me up to highspeed on the 16th so I only have to deal with dial-up for another week...
Went shopping this morning- got qite a few gifts bought- still have some more to go...and those are the ones that are SO hard to buy for!!!
Gotta go down to Annapolis this afternoon to pick up a couple things from the motorcycle dealer that I ordered DH for Christmas...also going to check on a brand new bike for ME!
'Morning...I really hate these early mornings...especially when it's cold...and really especially since I stayed up to watch that mess of a football game last night...
Who won? It is cold out today my toes are frozen. That's ok I love that he can ride the bus to school. Saves me about an hour a day.

Just think if we were out in the midwest right now, they are going to get hammered!!!! I wish it was us!!!! I could use a few snow days to get some things done around here, like baking!
Good day all! Mary - glad you're getting your new hook up! What a difference it wil make. You're right Kathi - a couple snow days would be good. i havent started cards and may just use the ones we've made at the swaps and my ones from ASPCA for the people who dont appreciate cards. I still have made very little progress on getting my house back together after the flooring. Boxes of china and other "precious and valuable" (to me) stuff that all needs to be cleaned before it goes back into the china cabinet.
Gonna be a long day -- didnt get to bed until 11:30 (friends Christmas party - luckily I dont drink) and up at 6 am.
So, off to make the coffee! Have q great day. Talk atcha latah gatah.
well Brrrrrrr to me. was half planning on walking from Kimbrough to the exchange complex to do some wandering around( and buy stamps) but now I ain't so sure ...mighty cold to me out there.
appointment is at 1, not sure how long it takes. haven't done one in ten years dontyaknow...

I started my Christmas cards last night Have any of you made your own Cuttlebug folders? I did it last night and it works GREAT! I am so excited, and my card fits Amanda's challenge. I cleaned my stamp area, made the folder and 20 cards last night in under 2.5 hours. My cards this year should all be made by tonight. Although...I have a few stamps I need to use too, so maybe these will just go to family and I'll stamp some for "real" people

I'll be home if you need a ride let me know. I'll be in the kitchen all week. I'm getting a cookie tray together today sending it to work with DH tomorrow. Then I really should get something together for Evan his B-Day is Thu! It's been a crazy week what can I say.

Just dug out several Christmas stamps and a few SU sets for making cards and seals for envelopes, now to get motivated and get started!
I hope you are all staying warm. For those of us with kiddo's in school, don't forget the local channel's (like fox) start broadcasting closing and delays around 6:00 am so the high school kids know first. Chad is up by 5:35 and jumps on the bus at 6:33 am. OH talk about early mornings.
Off to stamp some more Christmas cards. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow nights' tag night!

I don't always trust the TV and radio channels for closings/delays...never fear, though- you WILL get a Connect Ed phone call from the Board of Ed letting you know if there are any closings or delays...and don't forget you can check www.aacps.org and it'll tell you right at the top of the home page, too.
What should I bring?
I know Loretta is going to say "your basic stamping Kit".
LOL!!! You could bring some scissors, and if you have a fave adhesive - that's all you will need. - And that's just so you won't have to wait to use anything. See you tomorrow :p
in case any one is wondering: flu shots are painful after the fact. and I got BOTH today. hip hip hooray.

Nope I was able to keep him away from the chocolate well kinda. He did manage to eat 5 cake balls after dinner and he did cry because I ran water in the chocolate pan. He wanted to lick it clean and mean Mommy washed it.

Oh he is little and will get over it.
Chad, that is how I 'bribe' him to help me bake. He gets full bowl and mixer lick privledges. Even at 15 he is still a mess but its so much fun!
Have a good night, off to get some rest, full day tomorrow, need to pack and other stuff!
