From what I read, there will now be two sets of 5 in colors that will change every 2 years instead of every year. They are just trying to keep their colors fresh. They are now getting competition on cs and colors from PTI and GinaK. I am surprised that of the colors they brought back they did not bring back Kiwi Kiss. I think that has been their most popular InColor...or is that just me?
Naturally, I just placed an order and received bout $90 worth of cs last week. I refilled all my colors that were running low. Now I may have to look again and see if there are any other colors out there that are retiring that I "need."
Yes thank you Amanda for talking me out of the markers LOL
It is going to be PITA to get everything in the new families/colors, I am lucky I dont have much other than paper but I am going to have to buy up some of the retiring colors like my handsome hunter!!!

After looking at the list there will only be 8 inks that I don't have so that's not to bad on the pocket book. I just don't get the new groupings maybe it will grow on me (I hope).
Jeaneen I'm going to need a new swatch book! She made one for me 2 years ago she does good work! So if anyone needs a book.... lol She is going to kill me when she has 30 pm's asking for books. lol Hope H&R gives her back soon I kinda miss her.

as of 10:12 am EST, Loretta will be working at the Stamps by Judith booth on Saturday in Allentown Pennsylvania at the Heirloom Rubber stamp show.
Tracy, Cherie and Rose, It was so much fun stamping the day away with you guys. It was a great diversion away from my stuffy head and hacking. I did go to the wal-mart and buy the mucus relief stuff, works pretty good. I can hardly wait to make a co-missary trip and buy the packet of hot and sour soup, I was raving about it to DH who has that as one of his all time fav's.
Our router is acting up, we are supposed to get a new one in the morning.
We are also having serious issues with the air conditioner. Last year it suffered a "acid blow out" and we had to replace the condincer, this year the scrubber that keeps the system working properly has to be replaced. Its warmish in here.
My spellbinders die order came today, and I hope they have a booth at the show. I'm looking for some more of the label dies, they are so much fun!
Oh TV time sounds nice, hopefully we can stay cool, with hot weather comes some hot tempers, my former MIL is not doing well, she has had a stroke, please pray for her, she is 83 now

I'm glad to were able to come and find some meds for relief. Congrats on your Allentown gig!
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
This is for you Jane....love the "Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace". Very true.

well phlooey. apparently when one gets Unaccompanied orders OCONUS and moves directly into permanent Barracks one does NOT qualify for DLA.. so that's $2300 we don't get although it was gonna be free money anyway.. *le Sigh* guess those student loans don't get paid off as soon as I wanted. Oh well.
I was able to take the Travel claim and pay a nice chunk on them as the credit card had already been paid off.
Laundry day, I may even sit down at my table and knock out the prototype for the swap.
I have such an exciting life, don't I?! :rolleyes:

Right now I have it all going from 12-5 at my house, if it outgrows that within the next week then I can book a meeting room at the Best Western, I am trying to avoid that because it is $$$ and you have to have their food on top of it, no snacks from us. But since J is away, the all day thing wasn't going to work out well either for me. Dang Army changing plans on us. Have I mentioned lately how POed I am about him being gone right now? No? OK.....I'm P-I-S-S-E-D!!!!! Oh Joy of joys I get to drive to Ohio this weekend by myself to an area I don't know with 3 kids. At least he was able to leave his GPS so I have that.

May 1 is not good, just isn't going to work out, I will PM you Amanda about the swap.
The hot and sour soup starts as a mix base, everything else you add is up to you, Tracy (and Cherie I'm sure) added soy sauce, yummy ground deer, mushrooms, onions, and more, (I've forgotten everything else that was in it). Oh my it was so yummy. I"m making myself hungry just thinking about it -- lol.
I'm working on some swap cards today before going back into the unmounting process. I'm hoping it will help get my mojo lined back up.
Random observation: flannel sheets may be nice and toasty warm during the winter but during Spring Cleaning when one is washing them for the last time and putting them away instead throwing back on the bed immediately: is a pain in the boohind. they just do NOT fold all skinny like normal sheets do.
and my designated sheet folder is 9000 miles away. Kimme can be peeved at the Army, I can be peeved at the Navy. So there...

Have a great afternoon, I'm starting on my swap cards.
I'm in three different swaps, with three sets of six cards each... oh my what have I gotten myself into! (they aren't due until June, and it's a nice break from the UM duties! :rolleyes:
