I've spent the day doing laundry and stamping...sure wish I had my motorcycle back from the dealer! DH went for a nice long ride to Frederick. I could have gone but I really don't like riding on the back of his anymore and I'm afraid to ride his other bike.

ugh. please keep my sister in law in your thoughts.. her cousin committed suicide this morning just over a year after a different cousin did the same thing. Her family is not taking this very well at all. David was only 24.

No, we are here for Easter. The Hubs gets back from this trip on Saturday morning, so no real point in going anywhere and we are going on a family get away the following weekend, so I'll see them all then. We don't really have a spring break out here, Friday and Monday off that's it, although this year it works out since they only go MWF. And on top of it all I don't want to take the kids up to stay at my mom's house until she is up and walking well again, which may not be until the summer. |

Hi everyone,,
Morning Amanda - yes Im fine. Thanks for checking. Just frustrated w/this computer and I havent gotten off my butt to get another one yet. Also nothing to say! Enjoying the weather, even the rain, since its not cold or snowy! Havent done a card or anything of course. Gotta make one of my old ladies cards for my longtime friend's bd. today tho.

Hi gang
I had a hard time getting out of bed yesterday, sore scratchy throat and a headache. I guess its a good thing I had already scheduled an appointment with my doc for Thrusday. I can't get sick we fly out on Tuesday for our Arizona trip.

Hope you feel better soon! Not fun to fly with a sinus infection NO FUN mega pain! Tell your doc about your trip and maybe you can get better drugs to kick it fast.

Good morning girls! Just wanted to post a quick hi and wish everyone a great day.
It's Mary's fault I haven't been on here in the evenings - I'm hooked on Molly and McGee. Even DH is enjoying watching it. I love stuff like that. I always check out the eagle cam at Blackwater Refuge too. So neat to go from nothing to eggs to eaglets to growing up.

Looks like SCS is back up. Wonder what happened!
I'm cutting all of the treat boxes I have (as samples) for my BFF, if you would like one of each of the treat boxes I have, just pm me and I'll get them to you, it may take me a while since I will cut them in bulk and partially assemble them.
I will be using one of my (cazillions) of paper stacks so they'll all be cut on patterned paper. They are fun to decorate. Each will be labeled with the sizzix die and name of the die for easy reference. No cost for the boxes, I only charge a small fee if I have to ship them, they will not have treats, but if you want some there yours for the taking.
I may or may not be on line much tonight or tomorrow, my bff and I are going to lunch at Uno Chiciago grill in Bowie tomorrow around 1:15 pm, if any of you are off, please join us. It is in the Bowie town center off 197 directly accross from Du Claw brewing company.
I went to see the dermatologist today, he injected the angry bumps on my face with a steroid and decided to be pro-active and give me a z-pack. Ahh hoping it kicks both bug's butts!

Okay, all you 'cat' people...
I'm cat sitting for DS. Well, I'm checking on the cats at his place while he's gone. Maggie, the calico, I noticed has a couple of 'bald' spots- one on her side, a couple across her back near where her tail is attached, and one on the back part of her leg. Both of his cats are indoor cats...what could be causing it? I saw her licking the one spot on her side...she seems to be acting okay- came out each time I've been there- eats treats I give her and she jumped up on the bed yesterday. Should I be overly worried? Should I even TELL him? He'll worry about it till he gets home...I looked online and it said it could be an allergic reaction to flea bites (don't think there are fleas but I guess they can get in the house somehow). It also said it could be allergies to pollens, etc. I've decided I don't like cat sitting!

It could be allergies or nerves, or she could have gotten into something and was REALLY dirty so she over cleaned herself. Cats will shed like crazy when they are nervous, and if
she isn't used to your ds traveling it could be making her nervous or bored. Keep an eye on it, if the skin is red and irritated then call the vet, otherwise, wait for ds to get home.
