Default new adhesives?

I've been away from stamping for 2 years now. I'm wondering what, if any, new and amazing adhesives are out now.

In my stash from 2 years ago I have an ATG, Xyron, SU glue stick, Crystal Effects, and glue dots. Have any of those been replaced by something better?

Thanks!!

I've tried a few things but my favorite by far is the ATG. I wish it could be smaller so it would travel better but it's still my favorite.

OK, thanks! I should have also asked what they are generally used for. (I know about the ATG as I have that one.)

Thanks again!

Tombow has one now that has 49 feet on it and the adhesive is actually many little dots. It's wonderful. YOu can put a bit of it on ribbon and small places or using it like you regularly use the adhesive. Love it! At scrapbookpal.com it is #62145 for 6.40 and the refill is #62146 for 3.99. Shipping is free for a $25 order. CB folders are only 3.99 right now. I always order a good supply at one time.

I love, love, love Tombo Mono Multi. It's the best liquid glue ever. I really love the dual tips.

Default Question about Tombow multi

I have used this glue quite a bit, but it gets all over my fingers. I use my fingernail to take away the excess--as I find any kind of tool cumbersome for a quick swipe of the excess glue. I keep trying less and less, but I still get a tiny bit that leaks out where I don't want it to. How do you keep your fingers from getting yucky when using this glue? I prefer to use my fingers to swipe away excess, because they are the fastest method of swiping off excess. I then clean them with alcohol or baby wipes, but that glue still gets all over my fingers. Do you have any tips to keep it off the fingertips?--I know I am not that messy, but I can't seem to help myself when I work with this glue. I have toothpicks I use a lot too for getting those tiny slips of glue, but sometimes I want to be really quick and my fingertip is always the quickest!
I have mostly quit using the tombow-multi because of this. I love the way the glue adheres, but hate that it gets all over my fingers. It would quickly become my favorite again if I could find a way to avoid this. With Christmas cards coming up, and I like this glue for this because a little goes a long way--making it very economical! Plus it adheres great! Thanks for any hints!!!!

I very rarely have glue squirt out. I typically stay away from the edge of the paper with it. If I'm getting close to the edge I use the fat end to make it a thin layer. Really this stuff will hold with just a dot in each corner of the cardstock. It's strong! If I do get some glue where I don't want it I just use the adhesive eraser.

I'm with Heather. I just run a very, very thin bead of glue about 1/4" from the edge, but a dot in each corner would hold just fine. It's very good stuff!
