Default Brilliance Pearlescent Ink

I just used the Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue Ink in a class and I loved it! I have been looking online to buy some other colors... but its hard to guess what the true colors are. I am looking for the typical Christmas Red and Green colors. Can anyone that uses this stuff tell me what colors I should get to have these colors?

Thanks!

I haven't used red or green but I do have the Starlite Silver and Cosmic Copper. I love those colors. I think the Silver would look very cool for Christmas.

Default I do love Brilliance

Hey there, I would buy Rocket Red or Poppy Red and Gamma Green.

Rocket Red-Bright Valentine's Red

Poppy Red-Little Deeper Richer Red but still True Red

Gamma Green-Traditional Shamrock,Christmas Tree Green

Pearlescent Lime-Great Limey color for Christmas if you are feeling frisky...lol.

Did you know they come in dew-drop shaped pads too? It's a great way to collect colors!

PS - Sorry I can't help with you exact question; I don't have any greens and only a dry Rocket Red. But I really love the Pearlescent colors (Chocolate, Beige are two faves) and the metallics esp. Cosmic Copper.

I'd go with Pearlescent Ivy for a good, deep traditional green. Haven't used any of the reds, I'm afraid.

Hi there,

The pearlescent ivy is a deep, rich green vs the pearlescent jade which is a much brighter colour. There are 2 red colours: the pearlescent poppy which is a rich and bright red vs rocket red gold, which is a red ink with gold shimmer.

Yep, the ivy is a really deep green but for a lighter Christmas green go for the Pearlescent Thyme colour - lovely!

i definitely agree pearlescent ivy good deep green, pearlescent thyme is a bit more on the vintagey green side if that makes sense and lime is GORGEOUS too. as for reds - i like pearlescent crimson as well which is a deeper burgandy type red. honestly when you get the dew drops they are really affordable and i would say get the three greens above plus the crimson, poppy and rocket red gold - it would be less than $14. i also HIGHLY recomend the pearlescent chocolate - i use mine constantly and i can also tell you that the moonlight white is THE BEST white i have ever used and i have tried them all!!

I love rocket red gold. Its really cool. I'm a big fan of moonlight white too (for a pearly white). And as someone mentioned - the Chocolate is beautiful as are all the metallics.

Thanks for all the replies!!! Right now we are only wanting the pearlescent ones as we have so many other plain ones. I ordered the Poppy, Rust, Purple, Olive, Orchid and Sky Blue so far. I may get some of the other colors I wont use as often in the dew drop set. I will def be getting the Ivy, and prob Thyme. Still not sure about Crimson... Im glad to hear the Poppy is red... my poppy marker is more of an orangish color.

Another Brilliance ink fan here....love this ink and have most of the Brilliance colours. I've found Pearlescent Ivy (dark green), Pearlescent Thyme (lighter green) and Pearlescent Poppy to be fine for christmas greens & reds. I found the Pearlescent Crimson to be too 'purple' a red for me and I dont personally use it as my christmas red.

Gamma Green & Rocket Red are terrific colours, but they are not pearlescent.
