Teresa! I got your package today! It wasn't necessary to send me all that paper! If the group is getting together on the 18th this month, I won't be able to attend, as I will still be in the air. Of course, if you decide to stay until all hours at a ribs place again, I could possibly catch you there! But I will just want to go home to my bed at that time.
By the way, that card turned out fabulous! Thanks so much. I know just who I will send it to!

Ina, I wanted to be sure you got it because I want you to know I appreciate your sending me all those stamped images. Did you see the motorcycle stamp in the new summer mini catalogue? I have to get that!
Yes, I did see that stamp. But I won't be getting it. My two friends who are motocyclists will not be requiring motorcycle cards. One of them has married someone else (boo hoo!) and I am no longer in touch with him. The other one has cancer and may not ride again.

Over here, not so good...I did what I figured was "nothing" yesterday, at least by my standards and today woke up in SO much pain that I had to ask Scott to get the boys ready for school so I could go back to bed with some serious drugs...then I slept till after 1 p.m. - YIKES!!!!
Hoping the rest of the day is MUCH better than this morning and that tomorrow is even better still - UGH!

Howdy peeps! Just checking in to let you all know I'm behaving-LOL!!!
Though, to be honest, this not doing anything is making completely nuts!!!
Just sit back and enjoy it.............I did! Learn something new, like crocheting or knitting that you can do sitting down. That's what I did. My SIL taught me a new crochet pattern and I made winter hats for y'all...........I just didn't get to deliver them, because of bad weather. So they will still be coming this fall!

Ina, you are truly one talented crafty lady!! I tried my hand at crocheting but never got the hang of it. Wish I did though since there are some pretty cool stuff to be made.

How is everyone's week going? I have had a relaxing week...its weird! lol I am having a party on saturday and they are calling for SNOW! lol just my luck for a bbq! Thankfully i have a garage and a covered deck and a pool table...there should be lots to do!!

Hi everyone! Yes mommies, I am still doing nothing, except for one load of laundry (today) and getting dinner in the crock pot (yesterday and today).
Di, I'm actually working with Caroline on Saturday. Don't worry...it will be all sit down stuff and I won't overdo it. Hubby is not too happy that I'm going in, but I REALLY miss my Caroline!
Are you ok to drive for that long? Or is someone driving you? I sound like such a mother hen! lol...I know you're well and able to take care of yourself..I'll stop hounding you as long as you promise to take it easy. I know you must be going stir crazy since you've always been so productive and kept busy all the time. I just want to make sure you're ok! luv ya! :p

Christyne, Glad you got it ok. I should have given instruction on how to get well in that card because it sounds like you are not relaxing and letting yourself mend.
Awwww! Di, I love you! I'm driving myself, and it'll be ok. I drove across Mississauga and back yesterday and did ok. I don't plan on doing anything tomorrow so that I can be well rested on Saturday. And, there won't be any traffic as I'm going in around lunch.
Teresa, I'm doing the best I can. This is me we're talking about...you know, laundry done, dishwasher run, bathroom clean, floor washed all before Di has brushed her teeth. LOL!
I know it's hard to slow down suddenly. When I went from 2 jobs down to one it was totally bizarre to do things like sleep, watch tv or take a bath that was longer than 5 minutes long.
Just do it for now and know you can go back to your usual schedule in no time.
It doesn't surprise me...something always goes wrong on my bday!! lol

Hi Mommies!!! I am home safe and sound from Caroline's...though I didn't even get to see her! :( She called me around 3 p.m. or so from the birthday party they were attending to tell me that she was suffering from a horrible migraine and wouldn't be coming in. That left me to run the "Canadians, Ink!" team meeting. LOTS of fun, but now I am SUPER tired.
I'm just checking in on all my peeps while enjoying the cup of tea that my hubby made and then I am hitting the sheets!!!
Happy mother's day to all the mommies tomorrow! Hope you all get spoiled rotted!
It'a been a long time since I had a day off on Mother's day. Working 12 night shifts doesn't cut it, when my kids live out of town. Well, I will be seeing my son on Tuesday and my oldest DD did say she might drop in to the hospital to see me.

Yes...I'm a doggie mom! But he just made work for me today! No breakfast in bed or anything....no, no, not for me! He just crouched and pissed on the floor in front of me! He's NEVER peed in the house before!! BRAT! LMAO

Well I would say 'it was nice while it lasted' about my job...but I pretty much hated every minute of it!lol but it looks like it is over now anyway! so back to the continuing search to actually find a job that pays and it might be nice if I actually liked it too! I don't think I was very pleasant to be around for the past 6 weeks!;)
I haven't been near my craft studio for an age, except to put things in there extra, so I am planning on spending some time in there tomorrow. Just spent the day catching up on chores around the house exciting things like cleaning floors etc!
