Why can't every day be a crafty day?
I see the sun is trying to come out. I love these days!!! I try to get my stuff inside the house done. Now I need to pry myself of this computer and get some stuff done.

We just got back from taking DD back to college. Much easier this year... she isn't taking as much stuff and not as emotional!! Went to see Michelle's new apartment there too. She has a new full-time teaching position in Mechanicville... elementary special ed. So all my kids are again out of the house and happy and healthy. Now... mom and dad are due to go back to FL next week. Then we can have our house back again!! Whew!!
If it's sucky weather tomorrow.......... who wants to stamp?

Hello friends! What is everyone up to this weekend?
I am still playing catch-up...I had an unexpected trip to my mom's this week. She had a mini stroke. :( She is doing better now though.
Sorry about your mom, Cookie! :( I know what it's like because my father had heart attacks and strokes starting when I was a teenager. Does she have diabetes that caused it? That's what caused his first stroke and we didn't know he had it until the stroke. His major frustration was that he couldn't talk for quite a while...talking to everyone was one of his favorite things to do. Hope your mom doesn't have any lasting after effects!!
I hope she's wrong, cause we are headed out the door to the fair...
Have fun! You can always sneak into a building if it's that bad!
Eat a caramel apple(with peanuts) for me!......yes it's possible with braces, just cut it apart!

Thanks, Arlene. No she isn't diabetic. But my grandmother (her mom) had strokes. She doesn't seem to have any lasting effects from it. I just hope she doesn't continue to have more.
