Lynn great challenge. It really put my creative imagination to the test. I hope you have a wonderful time in Orlando.

For those of you without freezer paper, try heat and bond if you have that. I used it for my flowers. When I was making fabric dolls and animals, I used heat and bond to make my flower adornments. You could even iron your flowers onto your cards if you want your flowers flat, otherwise, it gives the fabric a nice substance and won't fray. Here is my card:

I started out with pieces to make a flower, but somehow ended up with a TREE instead!

Here is my card!

Here's my card...

Button Cherries

I did enjoy this challenge but it took me FOREVER! The only freezer paper I could find was plastic coated and it did not work. I ended up adding shims to my cuttlebug sandwich and was able to get pretty clean cuts that way. Thanks for looking!!!

I'm not sure if it's okay to change the way things are done or not ... but... I didn't have any any freezer paper so I came up with another way of making cloth flowers. I have some paper called Sticky Dots. Tonight I cut strips of paper the size of my die & put them on that paper. Then I peeled them off & put them on the fabric. I ran the fabric with the paper stuck to it through the cuttlebug using my flower die. It cut perfectly. The flowers have a paper back so they are easy to attach to the card & the edges don’t fray. It’s not the way the tutorial was for making fabric flowers but it sure works great.

OK, way fun to be able to use fabric on a card (no felt this time)! Although my dies were resistant to cutting the fabric, I perservered long enough to make a flower!

Thanks for looking and have a great week!

A funny thing happened to me on the way to this card. Spent a little gas looking for freezer paper and couldn't find it. I had read several other options for this technique...so I still wanted to try it. Couldn't remember which box in the garage had the fabric...finally found it. Couldn't find something to fuse the fabric to...finally came across heat n' bond. I used the iron last on another technique here...but hubby put it away...don't know where and hubby is unreachable by phone today. So....decided to use the heat tool to bond the fabric to the heat n' bond (I know it works cause I hemmed my pants that way not too long agohonest). It worked greatbut after all that fussI was too tired to make a card. I turned out this cute little 3x3 and left it at that. Thanks for letting me share.
Here's mine...

I didn't have Freezer Paper either but decided to substitute HeatnBond and play along anyways! What a fun fun challenge... I may have to play with fabric more often when making cards!
