I'm a little late, but I didn't want to miss this challenge. This was my first time to do paper piecing. When I looked through my stamps, I was astounded at how few lent themselves to it. Clearly, I have absolutely no choice but to buy some more stamps, as much as I hate buying stamps or paper-crafting products of any sort. (Major sarcasm alert there.)
But I tried to make do. First I stamped an outline flower on dotted paper and cut it out, but I wasn't sure whether that really counted as paper piecing.
Then I pulled out my cute little kitty set that I haven't mentioned to my husband because I'm going to make an anniversary card with it. Don't tell him I have it. The umbrella is truly and officially paper-pieced.
I made some paper piecing cards for the CHF Summer Design Challenge, so I figured I would include them in this gallery as well - though I think I accidentally mislabelled them as CAS19 instead of CAS20 though, oops!
I combined two challenges here CAS22 and CAS20. I pieced the envelope with the candles in it. I went about it in a weird way so I ended up doing a lot of cutting. I could make it with a lot less work next time around. Here's what I came up with: Cake toppers by pvilbaum at Splitcoaststampers
