I am also new to the board and soon to be SU demo. I grew up in Evansville, but have lived in Biloxi MS, Omaha NE, Denver CO, Indianapolis IN, Greenwood IN and Grapevine TX before returning to Evansville 3 years ago.
Another Hoosier here, although I live in CO now. I also grew up in Fort Wayne, and my parents still live there. I sure miss the Three Rivers Festival! You will love this site, and congrats on becoming a demo. I'm sure you will love that, too!
Also a Hoosier, someone else who posted said their hubby was from Logansport, and that's my hometown too! Ha, small world! I grew up in IN, and moved away when I went to grad school. Moved back afterwards for a while and met my Hoosier hubby, and now we are living in NC. (Both still Hoosiers at heart). Most of our families are still in IN, so we go back to visit regularly, and it's always nice to be home.
Anyone heard of Manchester College? It's my alma mater!

Another Hoosier! I was born, raised, and still live in Richmond. Most people associate Richmond with Tom Raper's RVs. Trust me, if you see the commercials, you know where Richmond is!
Gina (glk313), when did you live here?

Also a Hoosier...born and raised in NW Indiana (Hobart), graduated from HS in Galveston (a cornfield between Kokomo and Logansport). Now I'm a Buckeye in Ohio but always a Hoosier in my heart.
Does a transplanted Hoosier count?? I was born and raised my whole life in WA state, hubby moved the kids and I here to the small town he grew up in (Beech Grove, about 15 min. South of Indianapolis) Been here 3 years now..........Been an SU demo for almost 7 years and business sticks since I've moved, but can't imagine life without SU, even though I rarely get time to stamp anymore, since I went to work last year. Hopefully one day...........I will be living the life of luxury and stamping again!!!

ANother Hoosier here! Born here and never lived anywhere else. I'm not a SU demo but a big scrapper & stamper! I have my own business with another company.... spread my funds with all the companies!! HA!
I'm a Hoosier now. We live in La Porte, NW Indiana. I was born and raised in the south suburbe of Chicago. We lived in Lakeland, Florida for 7 years and just moved to Indiana last year.

The origin of the Hoosier name came a gazillion years ago when kids were always asking whose yer father.
A friend of mine (GO Purdue!!!) did a paper on the word and found it was an insult that is sort of like calling someone a redneck in a negative manner.

I'm a hoosier . . . born and bred. I live in Alexandria which is between fort wayne & Indy.
I have been to Linton many, many times!! They have a great 4th of July parade!!! And a nice Walmart . . . and of course Goose Pond Pizza and Jiffy Treat. I swear, I don't live in Linton! My parents have a place in Dugger.
I wasn't born in Indiana, and now live in Florida. But I went to Butler University and met my husband there who is from Plymoth Indiana. So I consider myself one.
I am a transplated Hoosier. Originally from Montana. My hubby is a Hoosier and I moved here when we got married 6 years ago. (Hope to be a Montanan again someday!). Live in Souther Indiana - about 20 miles from Louisville, KY.

Yet another Hoosier by birth, Boilermaker by Choice!!! I worked at the University for 10 years, my husband ran track for Purdue and graduated from there and then dragged me kicking and screaming to New Jersey, my home now. My mother still lives in Crawfordsville and my sister down the way in a wide place in the road, Waynetown. Hello fellow Hoosiers & Hoosiers at heart! (My daughter was at IU, we put her up for adoption!!);)

Another former Hoosier here - grew up in Elkhart, went to college at Iowa, then married and moved to Illinois near St. Louis. My daughter is a Boilermaker (her hubby is IU, so you can imagine the competition in that family!) and she and her family live in Whiteland (south of Indy), so I get to "come home" several times a year.
Been a Hoosier all my life!! I was raised in the small town of Belleville, Indiana and currently reside in Noblesvile, IN!!! Can't imagine living anywhere else!!
I grew up in South Bend, and then lived in Mishawaka for a while. Moved to Florida and Connecticut before moving to Carmel 20 years ago, and I am here to stay. Spent our spring break up in Granger in the freezing snow flurries!
I'm an IU grad married to a Purdue grad. Our kids better go to Notre Dame or Ball State to keep the peace!
Transplanted Hoosier here -- born in Kentucky but moved to Indiana when I was 11. Have lived in Jeffersonville, Muncie, Schererville and now back to Jeffersonville after a brief stint in Lexington, KY. Went to Ball State (where I met DH), DD #1 at IUS and DD #2 either going to Ball State or Purdue.
Born in Elkhart, then married my husband over 25 years ago and moved to Indianapolis. We live on the southside of Indy, just north of Greenwood Indiana now.
The weather here never ceases to intrigue us - who would think it would snow in early April!? Only in Indiana, as they say!

Another Indiana girl reporting in...born in Goshen and raised in Ligonier(just 30-35 minutes away from you if you take SR 3 from Ft. Wayne!). And I am only 25 minutes from fellow stamper in Webster. I went to college at IUSB and lived in Mishawaka for 4 years before returning back to my small town.
Another Hoosier by birth, Boilermaker by choice. I was born in Merrillville, grew up in Hobart and Lake Station.
