Queen Penny Wise's Debut on Crafters Coast To Coast!
If you haven't heard the news, Suzanne Glazier of Penny Wise Arts (that's me!) will be featured on the television show Crafters Coast to Coast THIS COMING Monday, April 18th! And if you have heard, then this is your reminder to set your VCR!
It airs on Home and Garden Television - check your local listings for the time! I will be making FOUR projects in 12 minutes! Can ya believe that?? LOL!!
Featured will be my beaded African box, an African Shaker Card and Matching stamped and beaded pen and the bonus feature will be an elegant black and gold beaded lace thank you card! These are all some of my favorite techniques and I'll be showing you all the tricks and tips on how to make them!
In honor of this exciting event Penny Wise Arts is offering a FREE SHIPPING special!! Now through Tuesday the 16th, all orders within the US over $35 will receive FREE SHIPPING!! AND the next 4 orders over $35 will ALSO
get a FREE packet of the ACTUAL beads that I used on the show!!
Orders under $35 will still enjoy our low, rate of just $3.85 for Priority Shipping!
We now offer our Clear Micro Beads in TWO sizes!! The regular ones are .5mm in size and the MINI Micro Beads are .35mm in size. What's the big difference?? Let me tell you!!
The mini micro beads are obviously smaller, so they don't refract as much light, which means that the image underneath doesn't get as obscured. So for fine print images, details and words the mini's are the best! But for larger images, I still love the regular micro beads! Because they allow more light to pass through they actually 'sparkle' more than the mini's. And used TOGETHER they are awesome! The mini's will fill in the gaps left between the regular ones! How cool is that??
So don't forget to watch Crafters Coast to Coast on Monday - and order up some micro beads so that you'll be ready to play!
As we get closer and closer to the airing of my Crafters Coast to Coast episode, I am learning that many of you won't be able to watch it and I started thinking about what I could do from here to ease your pain! :0) And Yureka! I have an idea!! I'll host a DVD round robin of it!
To participate, you must have access to a DVD player and be willing to watch the show and pass the disk on to the next person on the list within THREE DAYS. If you cannot commit to getting it watched and back in the mail within THREE DAYS of receiving it, please do not join the round robin!!
This is limited to US participants only because our DVD's don't necessarily work overseas! I only ask that when you RECEIVE the disk, you send an email to let me know AND when you SEND it on to the next person on the list you send me another email to let me know! Each person will be responsible for paying the cost to ship the DVD via FIRST CLASS MAIL (Please do NOT use MEDIA MAIL!!!) to the next person on the list!
If you want to join, just send a private email to me at [email protected] with your name and address in it! I'll add you to the list!! Please don't post a reply through the forum or SCS message center on this -- I need it to come directly to me to add you to the list!
Great Job! How fun is that? Where, oh where did you get those wonderful, beadiful bead trays?!? ;)
I'm a little confused though, did you mean Tuesday the 19th for your special, or was this originally posted LONG, long ago?

Oh gosh, I had it on my calendar but forgot to look at it today. Was just reading this thread and looked to see when it was on. Lucky me, it was to start in 2 minutes so I got to see it. Great job Suzanne. Especially loved the lace card.
D
Great job! You're work is beautiful. It was good to "visualize" your favorite tecniques. Wow I'm new to this but had no clue what you could do with beads! Can't wait to try some things.
I missed it earlier today, and when I came home and turned on the tv, it was at the very beginning of the segment! Yeah! That lace card was TOO COOL! Congrats on your television debut!!!!
Oh, Suzanne!!!!!!! I had marked my calendar when you first told us about this and I almost missed it yesterday!!! I would have been soooo mad at myself! I saw the whole thing (taped it too so I could watch it again!) YOU ARE SUCH A CUTIE PIE!!!!!!!!!! You did a great job--I enjoyed it all, but I really loved the lace technique and the fancy safety goggles -OO-! I'm so glad I got to see your show--you are famous!!!!
