I think I have a prototype done for everything, except I keep flip-flopping over which one for DQ and which one for shoebox. I'm thinking - I don't want the shoebox too complicated, ... but do I really want to make that other one 14 times? I also have my technique pieces done, but not the full 6x6. Kinda lurking to keep "in the loop" while doing loads of laundry and packing stuff for storage.
One of DH's co-workers wants to look at the house so they will come the weekend after Easter because if they do not want it we need to list it with a real estate agent soon (we want to list it while it's still Spring and if it hasn't sold by Nov/Dec we will remove it until next Spring or when it absolutely needs to be sold - i.e. he has a new job or he has no job and retention/unemployment have run out).
DH cleaned the kitchen last weekend - and he did a nice job but what baffled me is that he kept pushing me to "get the bedrooms ready" while we are still using the heavier blankets, etc. but he couldn't agree that we could pack up the fancy bowls and other such stuff that go unused for years at a time. MEN --- even the good ones make you want to scream! Instead, I will get even by making sure he is the one that cleans his father's bathroom (I typed a lot more but am using discretiona nd not venting in print!)
I do need to clear a good amount of craft stuff out of the 3rd bedroom but am trying to figure out what I truly want and need to keep handy and what I want but won't absolutely need for 4-12 months, what to sell/trade/giveaway, and where/how to store it what is being kept. It wouldn't be so difficult if we didn't also need to have the closets look empty and basically the entire house seem unlived in. This is one of the many reasons we hope the coworker buys the house - it can look slightly lived in for her viewing as long as things are clean and not broken. |

I just found out last night that the woman who usually does my nails was one of the victims of the shooting. I only knew her by her American name, not her Chinese name. There is a very nice article and photo in today's paper about her and her husband - the photo is from their wedding last July. __________________ A good friend will come and bail you out of jail... a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn, that was fun!"
