You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
as you look at thread titles in General Stamping, you've probably noticed that some of them originate from our member companies.
Threads from our member companies are displayed in General Stamping to give them more visibility. The logo of each company shows up off to the left. These threads don't actually "live" here, but are included from each of the individual company forums.

As promised some time ago, we're now giving you the ability to opt-out of seeing member company threads inside of General Stamping. Follow these instructions to opt out:
- look for your user name at the top of this page (you'll need to be logged in).
- your user name is a link. click it and you'll be taken to a new page - your Control Panel.
- look down the left side for a link to Edit Options.
- within the Edit Options area, scroll to the bottom and look for Member Company Global Threads.
- turn the Member Company feeds on or off, then click Save Changes.

Reason: addition of opt-out
Obviously, only some of us are seeing the glitch. I've uploaded a screen shot to this thread in the Site Suggestions forum: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I like it either way. I have gone to some of the MC because of them being in the General Talk section. As for some of the subjects that the MC have if you aren't interested in what it is just keep going until you find something that you want to read more about. There are a few topics that I have seen from non MC that I am not interested in and I just skip over them. I love this site and all that it has taught me and enabled me with over the past couple of years. Keep up the great work.
i like them either way - what i ESPECIALLY like is not having to go to each member forum to see if there's any new news/threads i'm interested in. while i think forum organization is important, too many forums just make it hard to maneuver [sp?].
I definitely prefer having the icons to the left.
I am unfortunately one of those who is only getting one word per line so at the moment, this forum is extremely distracting. I'm confident though that you guys will fix this glitch.
good, I'm glad you guys like this better. we'll get that IE problem fixed asap.
YOU ROCK! And THANK YOU!!!! I really do appreciate all that you do to make us happy. My DH is a CIO so he deals with IT all day. I know how frustrating it can be. ;)
I like the placement of the icons to the left but my screen shows up like Babydal57 & Crafts. I thought maybe because of the change, the first time view was 'really' different but I logged off and logged back on hours later and the view is same.
Also, another thing I noticed is how slow the website is when you click on a different forum/request. Maybe it is because lots of us are online on this site??? For me, anyway, the screen changes VERY slowly.
Agree with the OP who said 'Thanks' for listening to us.
