lol Cori, yeah, I'm not trying out for any more! How r u doing?
LJ, it's getting closer
ok... considering. ugh... sometimes I wonder why I make the choices that I do. Don't you hate second-guessing yourself?? I don't like this feeling...
Cori, yes, I second guessed myself at least 3 x today at work...and I dooooo hate it. You just have to have faith of the decisions you make, things happen for a reason.

Only if it doesn't harbor too much space, I might get one anyways this weekend if I can use a coupon somewhere for it ;) But there is a project I wanna try that involves lots of scoring!
of course I can bring it, it will fit nicely in my tote! I actually won it off Melanie M's blog! It intimidates me, I hate numbers and scoring, but I have found that I do use it a lot!

Ladies, I need your help with something. I have a friend of mine that wants cards made and REALLY wants a Calla Lily to be the image on the card, unfortunately I dont think I currently own or have seen any line Calla Lilies, has anyone come across a Calla Lily that they can point me to? It needs to be really elegant and classy, but I cant even recall any Calla Lilies that have that sort of style. Thanks to anyone that can think of one!
Ladies, I received an e-mail last night about Mono Adhesive refills, I wanted to let everyone know that their mono refills are on sale right now! Plus, I believe if you add the code ‘MONO’ to your order there may be an additional discount! Normally the price is around $2.10 or $2.15, but the sale is for $1.93 a refill, nice deal if you ask me. So I thought instead of doing a bulk buy, we could all order what we need and no one has to worry about the shipping once they receive the case(s).
Thank you for the link to the lilies! You ladies really are the best! Hope you all have a great Wednesday! I can’t wait to see the results from the MFT Idol competition, there were some amazing projects….and to those Ho’s that seem to be doubting themselves, I think that if given the chance you would rock that challenge ladies! I know what you are all capable of when you put your mind to it…
Location: In Christine-land, where the sky is purple and it's always sunny. Season tickets just $99 each...

Wow! I'm glad I logged in just in time to see this. Thanks for sharing!

Happy to pass along the information! I hosted about 4 mono bulk buys in my day through SCS and they were such a handful, but I still have 3 monos left at home. So when I saw the e-mail I knew that someone must have been keeping track of my inventory ;) I placed my order this morning, if you do order the discount with the code MONO is like 2% but that’s better then nothing, plus you can add a free vellum tape to your order if your order is over $20. Talk about a great deal!
So listen to this! I gave one of my cards from this weekends Gina K challenge (the sketch one) to one of my coworkers and he liked it so much that he has ask me to create cards for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day for him this year, so I have a list of 10 different cards he would like made! Plus another one of my coworkers saw the card and would like me to craft her homemade business cards for her (hence the reason I am looking for that perfect Calla Lily stamp). Loving it ladies!
So what is everyone creating or working on at home right now? I have a Gina K card that is in the process and a Pretties birthday card I am working on. I am SO behind on birthday cards, I am a Wish RAK Birthday Fairy and I am almost out of birthday cards, so I think I know what I have to do this weekend ;)
Hey KJ - working today, or is it the weekend? I can never keep track
Last day of the weekend, go back tomorrow days and then the next 4 are nights then off Tues - Saturday!!!!
DH has volleyball game again tonight, pick herup from that go to Fastpitch practice from 7-9 get home, climb in bed and wake up at 0330 for days...it's a friggin training day and NOT a fun one...I have to listen to "THAT" MHP tell us how smart she is..... YEA RIGHT! LOL
OK, off to finish some more swaps, have been pretty productive this weekend, finished up a Demo only swap for a SU Demo/Mod.... STRESSED ME OUT!!!!!
OMG I was SO paranoid that I even used SU ink, adhesive and EVERYTHING... I thought perhaps the SU sticky had a different smell or something and I'd get busted out for using NON SU stuf...:mrgreen:

Heya gals! Long time (or at least it feels like it), no see!
Joy, I saw your blog post and have been on the lookout at HL for the magazine. A former co-worker of mine is the asst, mgr at the store that I frequent... she looked at me like I was a crazy woman when I started flipping through what I hoped was your issue and commented to her that I was 'hunting for a Ho'.
When I explained that I was not, in fact, trolling like a craft psycho, Amber offered you her congratulations.
One more week and I get my life back until October... while I have enjoyed not meeting deadlines and finding bits of adhesive backing everywhere like rabid cathairs, I miss doing swaps!!!
Thus, I think that I have put WAY too much mental energy into Sarah's Twilight swap.. I've made at least a dozen different prototypes and still can't make up my mind on a label for one of my spots.
In addition to being overloaded at work between the two jobs, I've had oodles of kid issuses to combat.
Iain's headed back into the ENT tomorrow for screenings with the audiologist to determine how much hearing loss he's experiencing, and how weak his ear drums have become. They're not filling up with fluid like an 'nomal' infected ear; instead they are weakening and the cochlear nerve isn't doing its job.
We'll hopefully find out tomorrow if the funny t-shaped permanent tubes will be the remedy or if we'll be headed to Ann Arbor or Kalamazoo for additional testing and a cochlear implant.
For added fun (ha!) the school is recommending that we start Braedy on a medication. He's become a distraction to the entire classroom to the point of discussing retaining him a grade if he cannot get in under control.
I made a med consult appointment with our GP for next Tuesday. I VERY much dislike the idea of giving my son a drug, but we're kind of backed into a corner. Academically the kid needs a challenge; he's beyond bright and testing far above his age level, but he cannot sit still or stay focused to really accomplish anything.
If a low dose drug gets him in check, we get an accelerated program for him next year, and enrichment and support up the wazoo.
We did have one very good bit of news come home on Monday, though. Jennah came home with an invitation to a reception at a local contemporary arts institute. 1,200 kids in our district had a piece of their artwork selected to be displayed from the 17th to the 22nd at the UICA building (said art institute).
Jennah was one of the very few children in the 3rd -5th grade grouping whose art was chosen for display, and one of the only three from our building to get recognition at all.
Of course, due to a scheduling conflict, our usual Thursday hoopla was switched to Wednesday this week, but when I emailed my project coordinator she said I could either skip it or knock off an hour early to attend the reception. I opted for the latter. Expect to see proud momma blogging either this evening or tomorrow. ;)
Anyhow, I miss you all like crazy and am hoping like heck that I can still swing Ohio in July. Iain's complications may be squashing my Utah plans to see SCSers the first weekend of May, but that should long since be tackled by the time summer rolls around.
He was born in the summer of his 27th year
Comin home to a place hed never been before
He left yesterday behind him, you might say he was born again
You might say he found a key for every door
When he first came to the mountains his life was far away
On the road and hangin by a song
But the strings already broken and he doesnt really care
It keeps changin fast and it dont last for long
But the colorado rocky mountain high
Ive seen it rainin fire in the sky
The shadow from the starlight is softer than a lullabye
Rocky mountain high (high colorado) rocky mountain high (high colorado)
He climbed cathedral mountains, he saw silver clouds below
He saw everything as far as you can see
And they say he got crazy once, and he tried to touch the sun
And he lost a friend but kept his memory
Now he walks in quiet solitude the forests and the streams
Seeking grace in every step he takes
His sight has turned inside himself to try and understand
The serenity of a clear blue mountain lake
And the colorado rocky mountain high
Ive seen it rainin fire in the sky
You can talk to God and listen to the casual reply
Rocky mountain high (high colorado) rocky mountain high (high colorado)
Now his life is full of wonder but his heart still knows some fear
Of a simple thing he cannot comprehend
Why they try to tear the mountains down to bring in a couple more
More people, more scars upon the land
And the colorado rocky mountain high
Ive seen it rainin fire in the sky
I know hed be a poorer man if he never saw an eagle fly
Rocky mountain high
Its a colorado rocky mountain high
Ive seen it rainin fire in the sky
Friends around the campfire and everybodys high
Rocky mountain high (high colorado) rocky mountain high (high colorado)
Rocky mountain high (high colorado) rocky mountain high do de do

That's awesome Jackie!!!
I'm not working on anything right now... I am proud to say that my table is nice & CLEAN! Everything is put away where it's supposed to be... can't work on much during the week b/c of school. But come weekend time, it's a disaster area! lol
I'm almost outta here for the day, going to WM with dad, and then tackle the list of "things to do before Joy comes" ;) I keep adding things to it.
BTW Joy - made reservation @ the pub for Friday Night. Good thing I called, the Renae said they were booking up pretty fast with the boys state basketball tourney this weekend. People are calling for 5:00 reservations on Saturday already. YIKES.
Roberta, wowzers, you have a lot on your plate, please take it easy and let us know how things go. I can't imagine all the chaos with the kiddos, wowzers.
LJ, I guess I need to focus a little more on packing up my stuff.......
