Wow, I had no idea about this thread, but I too had hated that banner and scrolled ASAP to avoid it! Haven't seen it for weeks. But, one URL contained "doubleclick" which I do not know where it originates but I delete their tracking cookies on a regular basis. Especially if I don't like ads I'm seeing. I guess I should research it more!

interesting comment about tracking cookies, I'm not sure what all those doubleclick ones might contain. doubleclick is the ad serving software, it's just a generic software program used by many site publishers.

I like to think that deleting the cookie says "don't show me that ad again!", but I know it's probably not that responsive... but at least I have nothing but stamping and tax-related ads. The tax ads are good because I have not delivered our stuff to our accountant yet! Constant reminder! ;)

This is hilarious! Whenever I used to see that ad, I would think, Oh brother...I should be working out instead of stamping! LOL! I have not seen that ad in several weeks. It's fun to read everyone's comments about the flabby tummy!
