E-mail link on blog?

Hi,

I just set up a blog today... just kind of daily observations, funny stuff... some mom stuff. Anyway, I'd like to be able to let people e-mail me if they want to, without having my e-mail on the main page. Is there a widget somewhere that allows me to do that?

Just add a page element (HTML/JavaScript ) then add the following with your email address.

Email Me

You can do what Jovi has said or you can simply type what you want such as "Email Me" highlight it, click on the hyperlink button (the world with a chain around it) then type
mailto:your email addy

If you do this, does your actual e-mail show? I don't want my actual e-mail to show, just a link to e-mail me.

It doesn't show your email address in your profile, just a link (see how it looks in my profile).
Blog owners who receive email notifications about comments on their blogs, can see your email address in their inbox instead of "noreply comment".

If I leave a comment on your blog, and you receive email notifications, you are able to see my email address.

I have a wordpress blog and I did not want my email address to appear anywhere, so I created a new page titled "Contact Me". In the area where you type the body of your post I entered my message, then a few lines under that I entered [contact-form], be sure to include the brackets.

Once you save the page the form shows up on that page for people to email you. They do not see your email address, it just shows a form they fill out with their message and hit submit. Their message comes to your email inbox without compromising your email address.
