Gonna be making quite a few trips to HL this week as well, since they have 40% coupons this week and I need to get MFT shopping done. I know EXACTLY what I am getting! :mrgreen:

I got to visit with Scrappy and baby Bella today. it was a pretty day so the kids played at the park for a bit.
The spider mints are very cute. I made these 2 treats for a shoebox swap last weekend. Quicker than the spiders I have made about 90 of the frankinstein popos for my kids classes.

I was wondering if any of you taht are also SU demo's are planning to go to convention this year? I went a few years ago and am considering it this year and would love to meet some of you!!! Unfortunately, the Ho meet is a bit far for me to travel, I could drive to Salt Lake so just wanted to see if any of you were going.
I think Manda is thinking about it. I MAY go but it depends on the $$.

Ward and I watched 'Extreme Makeover Home Edition' last night ( 'cause we don't watch sports, save my obsession with hockey, and that's all that was on... I know... we're weirdos ) and as they were showing off the redone house, I spotted a bedroom and went "OHMIGOSH!! LJ would LOVE that room!!" and Chris thought I'd lost my dang mind. LOL
Super sweet room, all tricked out ala Wisconsin Badgers. Friggin' huge Bucky on a mounted piece over the head of the bed, framed game shots on the wall, UofW sheets, everything coordinated in crimson, white and neutral wood tones.

I totally forgot to watch that last night - The family is from Reedsburg WI (not too far from here). But it sounds like a room I would def enjoy! One of my colleages here @ the office has a Packers Room, I've seen it and I would say it's more of a Favre Shrine more than anything else. One I get my walls decorated my place will be a Cubs/Badgers Shrine. Nothing like a little Red, White and Blue :mrgreen:

Marci and I would go up 75 as it's pretty much a straight shot to Columbus. It would faster for you to shoot up 77. I would have to travel west to meet up w/Marcie as 75 is in the western part of GA and I live more North Central.

Oh, this was VERY tasteful and not all superfan overdone at all. Usually fan rooms are gaudy and very shrine like. This wasn't in the least. The episode is up online now, I think... it's one teeny blip in the episode, but it was the part that I was most amused by.:mrgreen:

Okay, I have a stamping design question, I'm in a 26+1 ABC swap (I'm doing T for trucks) ~~ and yes I know the question needs to be addressed as to why in the heck I was crazy enough to sign up for this swap in the first place (sign-ups were in June - and I was thinking "oh plenty of time ~ NOT!" LOL anyzoo to get to my question - I'm using the By Land SU Set, and at the bottom I am stamping a blue dump trick and a green tractor - do I use brads, buttons or eyelets for the wheels? I have tons of old eyelets to use, but that would take longer. If I did buttons, I'd have to go shopping (which is NOT a bad idea LOL) and well the brads would eat my fingers alive after awhile. Whatever I decide to do it's 108 times (4 wheels per page). Everything is going to be bold brights. and no, they are probably not going to look all the same. Any ideas would help a lot! I have never done an ABC book before (I actually signed up for this so I could get one for my baby niece who is on the way). My former SU up-line was expecting at the time of sign-ups and she kind of twisted my arm to get me to sign up. THANKS for any help!

not to enable shopping, but buttons would probably be the easiest route to take. just a little glue dot on the back and you're done.

There it is....gonna go during lunch tomorrow. I'm done stamping tonight, I got those 54 images stamped and my hand kills (same hand I got caught in the closet door over the weekend). I need to get some ribbon in Primary Colors too for this one.
Gotta go make sure Bucky wins at least ONE conference game.
