I can't not venture that way at least a few times a year... concerts, stamp / scrap expos and just plain ol' need of an Archiver's fix. ;)
However, I am a giant wuss and refuse to drive any further than necessary as soon as winter hits. |

Hey girls. Just back from my last solid meal for a few days. Surgery is tomorrow. I'm stocked up on chicken broth, apple juice, and jello!

That is good, you don't have to wait long for your surgery..is this your first one right? It can always be nerve racking, you will so get use to it....love the quite time and the feeling of sedation...lol...I will say my prayers for you...just think..you will get to eat all the sooner.....hugs your way __________________

Under an hour one way unless the roads are spectacular.
From here to the Detroit area is around two hours - some burbs a little more, depending on the traffic.
With good traffic and clear roads I get from here to Novi / Wixom in just shy of two hours, and the Palace or St. Andrew's in about 2.20. ;) |

Oh Julie I will be thinking about you! Jello and pudding has kept me full the past 2 day inbetweeen throwing it up ! :( YUCK not fun throwing up when you have a hurt back and tummy ! I was screeming in pain last night! It got so bad mom took me to the ER! I am sure you will do just fine! PAIN PILLS ROCK!!!
I have some feel better goodies here for you! Just not sure when they will make it to the PO!
Give me a buzz when you can- I will be lyingon my couch in pain just like you!

Gottcha..i dont much like the roads now either..but whith 4-wheel drive..i am ok...when you are in this area..look me up...I so want to meet you..

I will DEFINITELY give you as much notice as possible before my next trek that way.... it may be in January, if I tag along for my goddaughter's rowing crew event.... that remains to be seen.:mrgreen:
No four wheel drive here... a lighweight Ford that doesn't like the ick. Rockin' awesome fuel usage to get there, but the likelihood that I'd die or end in in a ditch because my little four banger car weighs jack squat is pretty high. :( |

GAH!!
Babysitting an eBay auction is frustrating... it ends in a few minutes, and I hate just sitting there, hitting 'Refresh'.
The things we mommas do for our kids... it's one of the only things Iain asked Santa for and we never found one on a store shelf. :(
