Is anyone else having trouble scoring the acetate? Mine isn't making nice neat folds like everyone else! If I run the scoring blade a second time, it's ripping. What am I missing?

I use a Scor-It to score everything and it works well with the acetate. Next to my ATG tape gun, it's the best crafting purchase I've made. Hope this helps.

I'm curious to see other answers -- I also use the scor pal -- wonder if it's a question of what kind of acetate you are using. When I use the scoring tool, I use the side, not the point; too much pressure is usually the problem I've seen in classes, etc.

I didn't buy a Scor-pal because I found the markings to be totally confusing (I'm easily befuddled) and I found it way too easy to tear through my CS. I've never had a problem with the Scor-It. For acetate sheets I use OfficeMax OM96387 write on transparency film because it was the best value and it doesn't melt/warp when I use the heat gun (carefully!) on it.
