I am so loving this great Tim Holtz find. This ruler is so neat. It is clear, has a grid for perfect placement, evenly spaced piercing holes, metal side for cutting, zero centered numbers and 1-12 in numbers. It's great!
I didn't see anyone else mention this, but I LOVE the Lasting Impressions piercing template/piercing tool. There are a few different designs on it and it's sturdy metal. The printing on my SU! is not straight, so it's hard to line up straight. I don't use it. Would love to get the new Tim Holz ruler which has holes for piercing also.
Hello over the big pond!
I have a really easy and cheap way to paper pierce, i haven't seen listed so i am sharing this with you all.
I bought a pattern 'transfer wheel'. It has a handle like a pen and a small toothed wheel at the front, the teeth indent on your card or paper evenly making perfectly spaced stitching marks. run it along a steel ruler, perfect!! Or even go around a cardboard or plastic shape.
Cost 0.69
its used for dressmaking.

What a great idea! I haven't sewn in years but I remember that wheel from sewing class at Singer.
